Yes it's been a long and somewhat painful wait but it's here at last!

Get yourself into the iTunes store, search for Mumsnet and it will appear before your very eyes. It is not a mirage.

Android app following soon! (nb the mobile version of Mumsnet is at already available at m.mumsnet.com)

Hope you like it...

Blackberry app please Blackberry app please Blackberry app please

koekje · 08/06/2011 17:26

Yay!

Dolcegusto · 08/06/2011 17:57

It doesn't work!
it says verifying your connection then shuts down.

SlightlyScrambled · 08/06/2011 18:01

Just downloaded it and it keeps crashing. The startup page says it's verifying and then it blacks out and I'm back to my home screen.

Could be that I'm using a first generation iPod touch. I'm slowly being left behind like a Commodore 64 :(

But the mobile version is fabby dabby so I won't cry over this.

SlightlyScrambled · 08/06/2011 18:03

Oh crosspost Dolce. Glad to hear I'm not the only one.

Do you have a snazzy new iPhone perchance?

4teenmum · 08/06/2011 18:15

Whoopee. its great. No-one has written an i-tunes review yet or given the app any stars. All too busy posting here

OnlyWantsOne · 08/06/2011 18:49

Can we have a paid for one without the ads? Grin
Not enough space on the screen and endless flicking and scrolling especially on long threads, and can we have the option to see all posts

And it's a bit purple

TrillianAstra · 08/06/2011 19:04

I'm in the pub on my iPhone, but I'm just using safari. Not sure how I feel about the app yet.

Love that a paid version has already been suggested!

bufforpingtonchick · 08/06/2011 19:09

'Rated 9+ for infrequent/mild mature/suggestive themes and infrequent/mild profanity and crude humour'

OnlyWantsOne · 08/06/2011 19:15

To be able to remove Adverts would be an advantage. I would pay for that.

Tee2072 · 08/06/2011 19:21

I'm giving it a good test now that I'm putting my son to bed.

There are only 15 active threads and the more button is not doing anything!

Dolcegusto · 08/06/2011 19:22

Yes scrambled am on iPhone.

foxinsocks · 08/06/2011 19:45

mrswoodentop · 08/06/2011 19:58

Jux · 08/06/2011 20:02

I want the Android one NOW!!!!! (oh, and just so it's perfect when you release it, it needs to make cakes ....)

kitbit · 08/06/2011 20:04

y y y I would definitely pay not to have ads sorry Vodafone Blush Grin

Jux · 08/06/2011 20:08

Being a bit dumb here, I know, but would I use this app for an iPad, or do I do this thing with the m.mumsnet thing which I don't know what to do with......?Grin

MissTinaTeaspoon · 08/06/2011 20:11

I'm in agreement about the need for a refresh option, and that it would be nice if it 'flipped' like most other apps. Otherwise, love it Grin!

MmeLindor. · 08/06/2011 20:11

Another one who would be happy to pay if I can have it without ads and in a more sedate colour. I am not a purple person.

Sorry Vodafone, but maybe MNHQ could split the profits.

MissTinaTeaspoon · 08/06/2011 20:13

Oh, and in active conversations I like to be able to see if there's any new posts without having to go into the thread. I think someone already mentioned that. Looking forward to version 2.0!

Bizkit · 08/06/2011 20:15

Ooooooo I like, much easier to write a reply now Grin

RustyBear · 08/06/2011 20:16

MmeLindor - does it work on your iPad? Won't on mine. Not that I'm too bothered as MN's OK on Safari on the iPad.

I like the purple though...

Thank you MN Grin

MissTinaTeaspoon · 08/06/2011 20:20

Sorry, another moan from me...links don't seem to work if they're to other mn threads, but if they're to other sites they do.
