Hello,
You can now view a mobile friendly version of Mumsnet using m.mumsnet.com/

Hope you find that easier - do let us know your feedback.

I hope you are getting well paid for being up this late!

MargueriteArgeneau · 15/10/2010 03:42

I absolutely love the mobile version. I'm not very picky, and I'm just thrilled to have a pared-down version that loads quickly on an iPhone!

Thank you, Techs :)

Tee2072 · 16/10/2010 08:27

I have noticed just last night that threads I have hidden when using MN on my lappy are still visible on the mobile version.

Can that be fixed?

IAmTheLadyInRed · 16/10/2010 19:41

I did notice when I accidentally clicked report post on the mobile version that it went to a page of gobbledegook. Not that I report posts often though.

And it has definitely grown on me Smile.

Tee2072 · 21/10/2010 11:25

Is anyone from MNHQ still following this thread?

Because just today, through threads I'm on, rather than go to the last post when I clicked its link, it took me to the first post. As I don't view in pages, it took ages to scroll on my iPhone.

AdamTech · 26/10/2010 12:18

For those of you who are using Android-based devices, do things become a little easier if you go into Settings under the browser menu, and set Default zoom to "Far"?

OhYouBadBadKitten · 05/11/2010 08:24

have just tried on my windows 7 phone - writing is giant and unshrinkable - 'nickname' takes up the whole screen. Nice try though!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 05/11/2010 08:30

On the upside I can log in using the web version :)

loonyrationalist · 05/11/2010 13:25

Hello

Perfect on my ipod touch. Not so perfect on my android (HTC Desire running froyo)

Text size is massive & I can't zoom out

My default zoom is far & the text is still massive. Looks ok if I change text size to tiny - but then I can't read any other websitesConfused

On the plus side profiles seem to work ok on the android & it does seem faster.

onadietcokebreak · 06/11/2010 15:38

Only complaint regardin my Ipod touch is I cant see my inbox.

JeelyPiece · 25/11/2010 06:43

I just tried to get on to MN from my iPhone using Safari and for the first time ever it's forcing me onto the mobile site (didn't know there was one until now).

Unfortunately I get the message 'Safari cannot open the page because there are too many redirects' so I can't get onto MN from my iPhone anymore! Help! This is untenable.

I don't even want to use the mobile site Sad

Tee2072 · 25/11/2010 08:06

Mobile site is definitely messed up. There is another thread about it as well.

And once it is working, there will be a link to let you use the full version.

At least there used to be...

HelenMumsnet · 25/11/2010 09:53

Morning! And yes, sorry - summat seems to be up. We'll get on it ASAP...

HelenMumsnet · 25/11/2010 11:58

Should all be fixed now Smile

TmiEdward · 28/12/2010 21:08

Why am I unable to post on the mobile site?
I'm using an HTC Desire (Android) and the Opera mini browser. I can log on, but not post.
If I use the phone to log on to the regular site, I can post.

Tee2072 · 30/12/2010 20:58

Mobile version is not hiding threads I've hidden. They are still showing in Active. Not sure if it's always been that way or if it's a new glitch!

Tee2072 · 03/01/2011 22:51

I know it's been holidays, but a response of some sort would be nice.Grin

Tee2072 · 07/01/2011 17:28

Bump....

Tee2072 · 11/01/2011 21:03

Hello?!?!?! Do I need to report the thread?!?!

HelenMumsnet · 15/01/2011 22:18

Apologies, Tee - that was a long time to go without a response. Sorry.

We will report this to our Tech team.

It might also be worth posting on the "how can we improve the mobile site" thread in Site stuff - just belt and braces, like!

Tee2072 · 16/01/2011 08:10

Thanks Helen.

Someone did post a tech issue to that thread and were told to put it in this thread so it would all be in one place!!

I think it's time for a staff meeting (which at my old office meant Friday mornings with a full English paid by the company). Grin

Decorhate · 25/01/2011 20:09

Please, please (if it's not already been mentioned) could you remove the "Report" button from the mobile version. I keep touching it accidentally as I scroll up or down. In nearly 7 years I have never felt the need to report anything, if I did I would log on to a computer
