Hello,
You can now view a mobile friendly version of Mumsnet using m.mumsnet.com/

Hope you find that easier - do let us know your feedback.

Text size looks generally fine, hurrah.

Log in screen still doesn't work though - although my username and password are 'remembered' in the fields, when I hit 'Log In' nothing happens.

The keyboard still doesn't work in Log In screen either.

(HTC Legend)

Tee2072 · 11/10/2010 09:48

debi Well, the standard looks fine on mine, so I thought people meant it was huge or something. I can't get it any smaller than standard either! But standard is perfectly fitting into my screen in portrait on my iPhone.

I've gone back to standard as well - the font on mobile is TOO BIG (yes i can pich it smaller, but only so much, plus i then have to adjust it back again for every other site on the web.

(android 2.1 on HTC hero)

catinthehat2 · 11/10/2010 12:04

I've gone back to standard, the fonts are too randomised for me to d/w

Iwishiwasasleep · 11/10/2010 12:55

It's great. Thanks

The add message text is big enough to see properly in landscape. It does zoom up in portrait but you can't see the whole post at once. Don't mind though. Much better now

4andnotout · 11/10/2010 16:49

Gah! Was loving it bit now my add a message button isn't working so I have to scroll all the way down the thread to post :(

Tech · 11/10/2010 18:02

Hi, the add a message links should be working OK now. Let me know if not. Ta.

jollyma · 11/10/2010 18:15

Font is too big on sony ericsson satio too but easier to view when adjusted.

4andnotout · 11/10/2010 19:08

It's back to being fantastic again Grin thanks Tech Grin
the font is a much better size now too :)

Tee2072 · 12/10/2010 14:06

Although this has not happened to me, it would appear that some mobiles are causing posts to post more than once.

ThighsWideShut · 12/10/2010 14:10

marking this on pc so I can find it on phone Smile

ThighsWideShut · 12/10/2010 14:19

Its blooming massive

not working for me Sad

NoahAndTheWhale · 12/10/2010 16:45

Anyone else having problems with accessing profiles? On normal mumsnet on iPod touch it opens in a new window but on the mobile version it tries to open it in the same window, but nothing happens.

4andnotout · 12/10/2010 19:14

I cant access profiles now from my iphone.

Tech · 12/10/2010 19:25

Hi, Sorry about the profiles. We'll fix that overnight tonight. Cheers.

Tee2072 · 12/10/2010 19:43

Add a hide button overnight as well!!!

(have I mentioned this? Grin)

onadietcokebreak · 12/10/2010 23:21

Its so slow and wont let me post messages. Font is massive too so have t zoom out which makes everything look odd.

Using a LG viewty snap (According to DP!)

onadietcokebreak · 12/10/2010 23:36

Testing

onadietcokebreak · 12/10/2010 23:37

Well it letting me post with IPOD touch and is faster. Took ages to scroll to bottom of screen though!

NoahAndTheWhale · 13/10/2010 22:21

Thank you for making it possible to see profiles...but when you click on one it
a) takes you to mumsnet standard instead of mumsnet mobile and
b) is still in the same "window". With standard it opens up a new one so you can look at profile and look at thread almost at the same time.

Tech · 14/10/2010 05:23

Hi Noah, I don't think we have a mobile-specific version of the profiles, but I could be wrong. AdamTech is the expert, but he's away till Monday. I'm sure he can check then. In general, if you click a link to a bit of the site that doesn't have a mobile-specific version, it shows you the standard version rather than showing nothing.

nymphadora · 14/10/2010 08:29

My watched threads just say no new messages.

Tech · 14/10/2010 14:20

Hi nymphadora, can you see if it's OK now. I thinkg it's fixed. Ta.

nymphadora · 14/10/2010 15:19

Yes thanks!
