Don't know, just feel a bit that some people felt it necessary to report mumsnet to a baby milk board or whatever it is for a so called breach of advertising. If you use and love a website why on earth would you want to get them into trouble?

Hmmmmm. I bet they feel like they have been beaten up this week. Storm in a teacup.

V weird.

NOpe, just scaley old me I@m rather fond of Hugh. It was one of the names Iwould have missed dearly had the changes been taken away.

HughJars · 25/08/2005 16:27

Advertising wouldn't have helped you there though, Chandra. Only working through the list of ingredients with a trained medical professions would.

Fio2 · 25/08/2005 16:28

Alan · 25/08/2005 16:29

WigWamBam · 25/08/2005 16:37

Er, we're women, Alan. We leave the perving over Daily Sport calendars to the poor, sad chaps who just can't help themselves, poor loves.

hunkermunker · 25/08/2005 16:42

Chandra, are you saying that if freely advertising infant formula was legal, it would be easier to choose a formula for a baby?

hunkermunker · 25/08/2005 16:42

Alan

nutcracker · 25/08/2005 16:42

mumtosomeone · 25/08/2005 16:44

I know too ..and some carry on regardless of this madness!!!

Alan · 25/08/2005 16:48

its not as though it was a bloody secret

Chandra · 25/08/2005 16:50

No Hunkermunker, I'm just saying that if you were not able to breastfeed for medical reasons related to intolerances you would be more likely to find/access information about what ingredients may end up being causing more distress to your baby before trying them if there was more information about the components available. Just that.

hunkermunker · 25/08/2005 17:06

I totally agree, Chandra. But the companies themselves can't be the ones to provide that - wouldn't be unbiased.
