Bexie reminded me it was the first of July!

I am still on the search for a pram that does all I want it to!

hereidrawtheline, I used a Zapp with DS1 until he was 4. I loved it, he fitted fine (average height and weight).
So light and easy to push.
I have pics of him in it at age 4 if you want to see.

5inthebed · 01/07/2009 16:28

I'm trying to get quote now, but it asked for the weight? Is that normal?

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 01/07/2009 16:31

5inthebed · 01/07/2009 16:37

thanks for the offer horsemadgal

I have not turned a deaf ear to all your fab advice but I am going to put DS in the Zapp and try it to see how we both like it as it is so convenient and affordable for me. The lady who is selling it is coming round to my house in an hour with it. I cant leave because my cat is lost I am just on MN to take my mind off it while I wait for him to turn up

5inthebed · 01/07/2009 17:32

Have emailed you now.

Does anyone know if i can put a buggy board on the bjcm?

5inthebed · 01/07/2009 17:37

Norma might know, I'm not entirely sure. Would think you could if the seat was up, but don't think it would be good if the seat was reclined.

OP posts:
buggylovinmummy · 01/07/2009 17:41

Good point,i dont think it would be any good when its reclined.

Its just that im starting childminding in a few months so will use the bjcm for the baby i,ll be looking after and was hoping to stick a buggy board on for my ds who will be 3 for the long nursery walk as he cant walk all the way there and back otherwise im going to have to get a double.

NaccetyMac · 01/07/2009 17:48

I'm loving the Zapp atm, but it isn't my main buggy. I use it for either DS1 (nearly 4) and DS2 (6 months) and it is OK for both. I hate that it doesn't recline, but it's fine otherwise. I've never had it tip, which I've been told is a problem, it's been great. :D

Getting my Vigour on Friday (thanks 5in!) , I used to have a Vigour 4, but it was too posh looking for scruffy me!

sal1309 · 01/07/2009 18:02

hi all

wow its been hot here today been at a friends kids have been in the pool all day

carrielou bugaboo buggy board is still for sale if interested

suwoo · 01/07/2009 18:11

Does anyone know if auntiefi is away? I am waiting on something she sent me on Thursday. I haven't seen her around on here and she hasn't answered my emails. Ta.

5inthebed · 01/07/2009 18:23

I've had two Zapps, and they were great for what they were used for. Will probably get one again (if I ever get bored of the BJCM) if and when I need one.

It's so hot! It was all stormy before, had oads of loud thunder and lightning, hoped it would cool down, but no. It's even more hotter!

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 01/07/2009 18:34

yes v.v.vhot here. im on sofa in cool with dvd on for boys.

NaccetyMac were you still interested in Startrite Tumbles? was going to ebay them otherwise x

hereidrawtheline · 01/07/2009 18:38

Right well - I bought the Zapp I mean it was delivered to my door what could I do? DS fit in it perfectly with some room, he was happy as a clam in it. I loved how it pushed, it is so so so much lighter than what I have been pushing! So thank god its done. It may not be perfect, I reckon that would maybe be the BCMJ but I cant afford that so I wont shed any tears! And at least I wont look like a bloody work ox each day I take DS to school pushing 6 stone uphill.

So... the upshot of this is I have a Mamas & Papas Pliko for sale. How do I go about working out how much to sell it for? Its a Pliko, was bought new in 2006, tan, black with red detail. Body of it is fine, a few scruffs and the shopping basket has a tear in it but it works. One wheel has been replaced with a matching Mamas & Papas wheel.

nicolamumof3 · 01/07/2009 18:42

checked ebay completed listings HIDL, what colour zapp you got? i loved my second but wasn't so keen on my 2009 one. they are light to push, but no storage.

5inthebed · 01/07/2009 19:04

Woohoo, kids in bed!

Not sure about Pliko, you might get £30 for it. They don't sell as well as they used to.

I LOVE that pink buggy Maxy but live no-where near

maxybrown · 01/07/2009 19:41

No, nor me sorry! Thought someone might though. I fancy a streety just to see.

I KNOW about Loola. I have thought of getting it to stick on ebay as looks in really good nic!

5inthebed · 01/07/2009 19:52

Didn't realise you can get Streety's in pink. My friend has bought a streety for her baby, she is due next month, so not sure what it is like.

I still like the new Icandy Peach. I would love a green one, they look quite light compared to the Apple. Not due out til August/September though.
