Bexie reminded me it was the first of July!

I am still on the search for a pram that does all I want it to!

Woohoo I have ordered a handle bar cover. £9posted!

FlyMeToDunoon · 01/07/2009 13:33

hereidrawtheline
XT £39
another one
this is the one Nicola had I think

nicolamumof3 · 01/07/2009 13:38

i wouldn't have a zapp for a 3yr old for a main pushchair, theres no basket and the seat isn't huge. agree techno xt is much better for you. look out for an older one on ebay or a pick up only near you? its much easier to push im amazed you've managed til 3yr with a pliko i gave up at 1yr with mine!!

nicolamumof3 · 01/07/2009 13:40

yep thats the obaby i had dunonn the seat not terribly wide tho not as good as an xt. or search for techno classic that would be good too or a ryder?

nicolamumof3 · 01/07/2009 13:42

techno classic

MamaG · 01/07/2009 13:46

Flyme does the bumper bar on your Infinity m ove around? Mine is firmly attached at the sides, but moves up and down IYKWIM. Is there any way to fix it? It annoys me, I want it to stay still dammit!

FlyMeToDunoon · 01/07/2009 13:50

MamaG the bumper bar from my Infinity has been collected by the binmen
It was knackered. The plastic inside the fittings at the side was in bits.
It just hung limply.
Soeone elses just needed the little screws in the side bits tightened up.
Hauck can supply new bumper bars for £10 posted.

FlyMeToDunoon · 01/07/2009 13:51

Don't actually know if they are supposed to move around though
Right washing will not hang itself up.....

BexieID · 01/07/2009 13:58

Ooo, have added that Techno Classic to my watching. Has the wheels I like, lol. Might bid, but suspect it will go for more than I want to pay, lol.

nicolamumof3 · 01/07/2009 14:03

i can't be bothered with bumper bars for toddlers took the first wheels one of straight away, must remember to take it out of carrycot before i pack it up.

right back off to ironing now. luka due up in half an hour.

MamaG · 01/07/2009 14:07

OH God. I feel like more and more is wrong with this pushchair every day

claret1980 · 01/07/2009 14:33

My Pulse is here. Its not the Pulse plus I thought it was (wasn't described as that anyway), I just thought that it was.

I'm happy now that I have it to go on our trip to Legoland next month.

buggylovinmummy · 01/07/2009 14:48

I wouldnt recommend a zapp for a 3 year old, i sold mine when ds was 2.5 as he was too big for it and looked a bit odd in it. He also said it wasnt comfy anymore, i think because the seat wasnt really big enough.

I have the bjcm and it is brilliant for toddlers but as you cant stretch to that i,d say a maclaren quest ot xt would be best for you.

hereidrawtheline · 01/07/2009 14:59

thanks for the advice. I'm a bit gutted the zapp isnt suitable as it is easy, available today and I can afford it. This headache of choosing a buggy is just never ending!

pebbles79 · 01/07/2009 15:15

FMTD, could you email me on [email protected]

maxybrown · 01/07/2009 15:52

SOMEBODY STOP AND HELP ME!!!! I am a step away from getting a what seems like excellent condition Loola nice and cheap, but I HAVE had one before so I know I will pull my face but I love the idea of the umbrella fold for a rear facer......will I totally regret it again?? It won't be main pushchair......but is it still silly? They're dead wobbly aren't they....and heavy up the kerbs......please keep talking me out of it

FlyMeToDunoon · 01/07/2009 15:53

Step away Maxy. Nicola says Loola is no good and she knows her prams!
Only cheap if it's good .......and its not.

pebbles79 · 01/07/2009 15:56

DON'T DO IT MAXY!!!!

maxybrown · 01/07/2009 15:57

Phew...ok ok. I know I had one already....but DS was smaller then and it was crap really....but I WANT A CHEAP REAR FACER [SULKS] that's also not crappy. I should wait and keep looking I know it. Always too hasty!

Maybe a bargain for someone if you like pink??

here

maxybrown · 01/07/2009 15:58

Oh and I like red....[sulks some more] I have never had a red pushchair. Sniff. Want one.

5inthebed · 01/07/2009 16:10

HIDTL, Don't get a Zapp as amain pram, they are only good for quick journeys and holidays IMO.

Poor you Maxy. Not sure on any rear facers, except the Infinity and Vigour that are in red.
