Bexie reminded me it was the first of July!

I am still on the search for a pram that does all I want it to!

claret1980 · 06/07/2009 13:28

Afternoon all.

Dh still not really speaking to me after getting the Zapp. Good thihng it wasn't a new one! I have had the seat in the wash and it has come up fine, just ordered new logos for the frame so will have it looking great in no time.
Ziko is getting picked up tomorrow night.

Oh Dis, I must have just missed all the commotion last night. Gutted you didn't get the Frog. But on the bright side you got another so it worked out well for you.

Nicola, I'm glad you are relaxing now, Weddings are stressful things. I can't believe you are off pushchairs though! We will all wait till after the wedding and you will be feeling better and back on form! Are you going anywhere on honeymoon?

sweetkitty · 06/07/2009 13:28

Bexie - I am so tempted to offer you my XT, the only thing wrong with it is the back wheels are a wee bit rusty, it reclines, leg rests adjust and I have the cosytoes too, it's a bit of a heirloom though have had 3 babies in it and it's still going strong lol

chocolatebunnies · 06/07/2009 13:38

Hi Ladies,

Just thought Id put it on here that I have just started a thread with two pushchairs for sale,

Red Reflection Quinny Zapp & Chicco Trio For Me in Vertigo.

If anybody wants or knows someone who wants, please let me know as I need rid asap

nicolamumof3 · 06/07/2009 13:42

im off pushchairs because im happy with what i've got tbh. my youngest is 2 next monday, i've had a mad year of buying and selling and have had enough thats all!!

we can't afford to go away unfortunately, maybe later in the year as its dp's 40th in November!

LibrasBiscuitsOfFortune · 06/07/2009 13:50

My BJCM has come (red/black/cream) and it's lovely and the handle is high enough for both me (5'9" and DH 6'5) but I would have thought it would be too high for most women! The only downside I can see at the moment is to get lying down to sitting up you need both hands.

BexieID · 06/07/2009 13:51

sweetkitty - lol @ heirloom. How much would you want for your XT? Where in Scotland are you? I'm in Dumbarton.

nicolamumof3 · 06/07/2009 13:51

piccies please libra!!

nicolamumof3 · 06/07/2009 13:52

chocolate bunnies would think your zapp is prob strawb if so new?

BexieID · 06/07/2009 14:00

A lovely lady just phoned from Country Babies, she doesn't know when she'll have anymore aqua Maxi-Cosi summer covers in, so have gone for a navy one. Can't have cream as Tom will get it covered in chocolate, lol. I chose aqua as will go with the harness pads and thought more unisex than navy.

sweetkitty · 06/07/2009 14:03

Bexie - would want about £20 for it, I also have a pink comfort pack coming from ebay this week for some strange reason so if you had a pink one you would be ok lol I'm in Motherwell but could get the train through to Glasgow. I'm quite attached to it I think everyone should have a Maclaren. The covers, hood etc are in great condition the cosy toes reflective bits look a wee bit worn though, I can take some pics for you, maybe you could make one great pram from both lol

Disenchanted3 · 06/07/2009 14:07

Just nearly bought a denim cam instead of frog,

was talked out of it though

thans suwoo

chocolatebunnies · 06/07/2009 14:09

Im not sure Nicola I bought it from mothercare in March but it was display model so have no idea, I would have said it was red reflection, how can i find out for sure?

BexieID · 06/07/2009 14:15

I know someone else in Motherwell! I could possibly drive to you, but still haven't gotten over the nightmare Glasgow traffic after visiting my friend. 2.5hrs to get home, lol. There are trains that go straight through to Motherwell from Dumbarton on a Sunday, not sure about the rest of the week. Will check train fares/times. I don't mind meeting in Glasgow though.

Pix would be great. Does it have raincover? My e-mail is BexieID @ hotmail.com

maxybrown · 06/07/2009 14:17

frogmellamoonbeam - I will CAT you.

Well, I feel like sh...rubbish. Had to go to docs about my mouth. Got an infection in it and swollen face.....nice, feel really shaky. Doc said I might have to go to dentist and have it deep cleaned.....I'm very very scared of dentist so feeling sick about that alhtough I DO have a very nice dentist who is very patient with me.

There must be something in the air....about buying things on ebay......sheesh. Must stay away me thinks!! I think seller doesn't want me to have it now........

pebbles79 · 06/07/2009 14:19

Finally got round to putting some photo's onto my profile page, lol!

Still think you should get a BJCM Nic!

nicolamumof3 · 06/07/2009 14:19

LibrasBiscuitsOfFortune · 06/07/2009 14:20

Maxy I have the same fear about dentists have you thought about trying hypnobirthing techniques whilst there? hope you feel better soon.

chocolatebunnies · 06/07/2009 14:23

Bugger it is Strawberry!

Thanks Nicola

maxybrown · 06/07/2009 14:23

no....but last week when I was there, I just kept thinking of giving birth to DS and decided in my head that giving birth had been much easier......I'm sure when I thought I was dying giving birth I wouldn't have thought that......but hey ho

I HATE feeling like this. I feel like curling up and crying....how sad. I have the vilest taste in my mouth....urgh sorry TMI

sweetkitty · 06/07/2009 14:25

pebbles79 · 06/07/2009 14:28

You're probably getting more and more run down Nicola and not giving yourself time to recover. It's so hard when your a mum, you're not allowed to be ill.

FrogmellaMoonbeam · 06/07/2009 14:30

Maxybrown - I dont have CAT but my email is claireg82 at davidkg82 dot demon dot co dot uk if that helps.

Claire
