FlyMeToDunoon · 06/07/2009 08:37

Morning all!
Hello happybunny. Sounds like a storm in a teacup to me. Why not both admit some crabbiness and shake hands? HB will sell her pushchair and dis will get one.
Hopefully the Infinity I bought wil be picked up today.
BTW I bought this and then asked if I could meet at the station but seller replied not so I paid for courier.

nicolamumof3 · 06/07/2009 08:40

very well said dunoon....

im feeling awful tbh. dp just packed first wheels for me tho bless him, he said he's glad no more pushchairs and so am i!!

must go get them washed/dress have to leave in 10mins!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 06/07/2009 08:54

Oh Nicola hope the dr is able to suggest something to help. Is DP off today? You must get some help.
Shall I come over? perhaps having 4 children and me in the house would not be helpful though.

sweetkitty · 06/07/2009 08:56

Dunoon - spot on there. Which Infinity did you buy was it the lovely aqua one?

Nicola - poor you, it's rubbish feeling ill and ahving two toddlers running around, take some painkillers and stick on cbeebies, oh right just read you are off to docs hope they sort you out

FlyMeToDunoon · 06/07/2009 08:58

Disenchanted3 · 06/07/2009 09:09

Morning

Waiting for BJCM

Addison has just bailed off his scooter on the way to playgroup he was fine but I bet I get a call asking to get him as he always feels a bit sad for himself after a fall

SK, I changed my auction to just the carrycot for sale ...

Its peeing it down... I have no idea how Im gonna find boxesfor all these buggies!! lol

I'll have to ask my mum to take me to asda and beg for some!!

Disenchanted3 · 06/07/2009 09:16

and gotta walk to the bits & bobs shop in the village for rolls of tape in the rain, arghhh.

I need to buy a brolly,

wheres the summer???

sweetkitty · 06/07/2009 09:18

Hope he is ok Dis

I do feel sad splitting up the pram and carrycot and if there were any way I could have used it I would have had it but DD3 too old and if we were ahem to have no4 I would need a double again. I have always lusted after pushing a wee newborn in a carrycot "proper" pram have never done it even having 3, DD1 had a horrid Graco travel system, DD2 twin aria and DD3 P&T not the same is it?

My head is thumping and I really need a shower (in my my en suite, painted it at the weekend and DP layed the floor yesterday) and to get off of here

Disenchanted3 · 06/07/2009 09:21

Lol, I know, I feel sad too, mad isn't it?! They look so pretty together, its almost... wrong!

But I suppose it happens to alot of them, bless em!

nicolamumof3 · 06/07/2009 09:26

just got back from nursery run, had to roll up my white linen trousers and find my pac a mac as the heavens opened!!!

back home now to have a bit of a relax and tidy up. feeling bad that im not taking luka to his swimming lesson but decided guilt is a waste of energy.

Also made the decision not to complete my course. i know i only have one more week to go but i have an extra weeks notes to catch up plus a whole 1500 word project to do. its time to say enough is enough and im not superwoman. its a shame as i've worked hard but i just have to forget it and concentrate on the wedding and my family instead. phew feel better for that already!!!!

FrogmellaMoonbeam · 06/07/2009 09:29

Morning Pramaholics. Im sorry to barge in on your thread but I have become rather addicted to reading all your buying/selling adventures/dilemmas although I darent start posting as I am borderline addicted myself although I am only on my 5th pushchair in 21 months and one of those was a necessity as we needed a double for our new arrival.

Anyway the reason I am barging in is that during my reading I have seen that maxybrown you keep linking to Bebe Confort Trophys wanting to know if people are nearby and I now have a Trophy Air 6 with Opera seat unit that I need to sell as although I think it beautiful to push DH hates it due to its size and weight and I have been told that if I get rid of it we can go research pushchairs and look at getting something else. So I was wondering if you would be interested. I dont think I am anywhere near you but would be more than happy for you to arrange a courier.

I hope you dont mind me asking this.

Many thanks

Claire

sweetkitty · 06/07/2009 09:35

Dis - what are we like feeling sad that it is getting spilt up maybe the carrycot will go to a new "home" with a new pram lol

Nicola - that's probably why youa re so ill, you are so rundown no wonder with the DC, wedding and your course your doing too much, you can pick your course back up later

Disenchanted3 · 06/07/2009 09:36

Awww shame Nic

can you not get extra time??

I need to find another frog now, but don't think i'll be able to
and SK has paid for infinity

Disenchanted3 · 06/07/2009 09:37

Am also wondering how seller found this thread

Ah well, already in the past.

Disenchanted3 · 06/07/2009 09:44

Seller won't answer that question either.

pebbles79 · 06/07/2009 09:44

Morning all.

I know I stuck up for the seller on that but I can assure you it wasn't me that pointed them in this direction if that's what you're thinking. I didn't even get on here till 11 oclock last night as my friend had been here all day.

Having another lazy one today, well as lazy as you can doing housework, lol. Off to work tonight .

nicolamumof3 · 06/07/2009 09:47

yep i wouldn't worry dis now.

i can't pick up course again thats a shame plus the fact that it is free. they don't plan on running it in this area again which is why i plowed on. that and i've always wanted to work in education. but its really stressing me out and making me ill as its a huge pressure on me. i will ring my tutor later and talk to her about it. my mum is now agreeing that all my symptons sound like swine flu too!!

no i didn't get one dis. i don't really like them, would have only been getting cos it was a bargain. wonder if they are all sold out now? there was six left yesterday. i will just get another buggy type prob a volo if i find i do need two pushchairs again. but atm im still more than happy with my quest its perfect. im so not into pushchairs atm.

Disenchanted3 · 06/07/2009 09:48

I'm not thinking of anyone in particular pebbles, TBH I wouldn't have thought anyone on here would do that

but can't see how else she would just happen to come on mumsnet and this thread??

nicolamumof3 · 06/07/2009 09:50

lots of people view this thread tho don't they? lots look but don't post. its just one of those things i can see both sides, it would be the same as you selling something dis you wouldn't want to meet half way if you had all three kids and a pram to bring if you didn't drive it wouldn't work. plus i agree the postage is not excessive with the insurance.

personally i use senditnow at 10.99 for higher value stuff its automatically insured.

Disenchanted3 · 06/07/2009 09:53

Oh i never knew that nicola,

i always assummed if you put a higher value the cost would go up?!

Thats good to know!

I see her point about meeting, but it went past thta,

once she said she couldn't meet I agreed and paid for a courrier,

I'm done with it,

anyone want to help find me a frog so SK can still have the infinity?!

JigglyPiggy · 06/07/2009 09:57

oh god dis im really sorry you lost the frog. i will keep my narky comments to myself next time (was suffering my own ebay trauma yesterday)

there have been a couple listed near me recently. there is a navy one on at the mo - is it only black you want?

Disenchanted3 · 06/07/2009 09:59

Yes black really
