Bexie reminded me it was the first of July!

I am still on the search for a pram that does all I want it to!

Will look for you 5in.

You need to buy some ready roll fondant, preferably a specialist cake shop as they do big blocks much cheaper than the supermarkets and they do the very necessary paste colours too.

Buy online too. Will link you to one tomorrow. I love cake baking. It is ds#3 7th birthday next week. No idea what he wants.

maxybrown · 04/07/2009 22:09

I know 5in. Best one is always London. Ninja has paid so it is hers...thanks Ninja

this

pebbles79 · 04/07/2009 22:13

That would be great LGAT , I'd really like to start doing all the kids cakes myself. I cheated the last time and bought a cake topper.

5inthebed · 04/07/2009 22:20

Oh I like that! Is that near you Maxi ? Maybe I'm not getting a bargain after all!

maxybrown · 04/07/2009 22:26

Yes it is......lol have to go now, keep me posted

5inthebed · 04/07/2009 22:28

Ooooo Maxi, would you be able to collect it for me if I PP you the cash? I'll pay you a bit extra as well for your time . I don't need the car seat though, so you could keep that and sell it if you wanted!

ninja · 04/07/2009 22:43

sorry Maxy - I've paid you now. If you're getting a really hard time let me know. She's only hounding you now she knows someone else wants it

ninja · 04/07/2009 22:47

yeh!!

sweetkitty · 04/07/2009 23:05

Funny you are talking about cakes, just ordered an icing topper for DH and DD3's birthdays, will order one for DD1's 5th birthday soon as well

Spent a fortune in the Matalan party shop on decorations for DD1's birthday too.

On pram front DH has said I can have a rear facer now just to find a nice one I like, the seller of the pink Infinity on eby hasn't got back to me about BIN

largeginandtonic · 04/07/2009 23:17

What about the cosatto mobi? That looks nice i think.

pebbles79 · 05/07/2009 00:20

I'd keep an eye out for a cheap I'coo Targo SK

claret1980 · 05/07/2009 06:47

Morning All!

Well dh went to pick up the Zapp, first the people weren't in so he had to go back later. He kidda hit the roof when he found out what it was. But he seemed to chat to the seller and her husband and wasn't so bad later on.

Can you take the covers off a zapp and wash them?

nicolamumof3 · 05/07/2009 06:54

morning!!

yes you can claret go online as it is a little fiddly and i swore i'd never do it again. my covers came out fab tho i put it in pillowcase as was worried about logo rubbing on bottom. what colour is it?

large g&t i always think the mobi looks a bit low? but nice shiny chassis!

claret1980 · 05/07/2009 07:00

It is red the logo already come off, the covers need a bit of a wash. Took me a while to work out how to fold as well.

My friend is selling her Cossatto Mobi. I'm taking poictures of it tomorrow to put on ebay for her. It is girly colours.

nicolamumof3 · 05/07/2009 07:15

oooh strawberry nice, thats what i had for my first zapp claret is a lovely colour!

claret1980 · 05/07/2009 07:26

I have just seen the folding etc on you tube. I saw an american version first and they had a Zapp with 4 wheels. I have never seen one of those before. Would be much more inclined to go for a 4 wheeled version tbh. Maybe they just do them in the US.

claret1980 · 05/07/2009 08:14

Can't work out how you get the covers off. Will have to wait till the kids have a nap this afternoon so I can have a play. dd & ds1 are playing with it. Ds1 is so happy he has a buggy for him.

maxybrown · 05/07/2009 08:18

Morning.

Only me up (hoorah!) fed up of throbbing in my tooth....well no tooth actually as I had it removed a week and a half ago. Think she muct have packed it with something as I keep having to get all this stuff out and it tastes of this awful medicine stuff....urgh,

Sorry.....right!

5in.....if I can help, of course I will! Contact them and see. Can you find out exactly where they are in Stockport, if it's still available. Just let me know.

maxybrown · 05/07/2009 08:26

carrielou2007 · 05/07/2009 08:39

Morning all.

I emailed about that frog too 5in to ask for a buy it now without the carseat as I would want to get a new one. Price made my eyes water so still looking for another cam.

maxybrown · 05/07/2009 08:42

lol Nic, I wasn't getting it. I just loved the postage cost...it's very heavy apparently......lol Sheesh! I hope 5in sees my message about helping her out with Mutsy.

Nic if I'm not on and you hear from her will you tell her should be fine please?

sweetkitty · 05/07/2009 08:43

£70 they are having a laugh, I saw one that was £40, feel like e-mailing them and saying have you heard of senditnow £10.99 any size?

Claret - I am still laughing about you sending DP to pick up a pram and not telling him, glad you like the Zapp though

pebbles - off to google I'coo Targo now

claret1980 · 05/07/2009 08:49

Yeah SK he was pretty mad but he will see that we will need it. Just cannot be bothered taking P&T with us. It is really big folded (only just learnt to fold it). My ds1 loves the Zapp, dd keeps pushing him round the room.

That I'Coo looks massive, yeah someone shoud tell them to use a cheaper courier or no one will buy it.

nicolamumof3 · 05/07/2009 08:58

sure will maxy! sorry you have tooth/mouth ache thats the worse. i still feel crap had enough of being poorly now!!
