5inthebed · 01/07/2009 10:08

Bexie reminded me it was the first of July!

I am still on the search for a pram that does all I want it to!

Ewwww Nicola, the In laws! I hope they aren't stopping with you!

What Mutsy? I have had the 4 rider lite and loved it. The seat unit was a weird material though. A sheep liner would have been lovely in it. The bright turquoise and green were such nice colours.

Thanks for the kiddie comments

I have had sooooooooooo many buggies. I had the first 3 wheeler they did over here in Mothercare. My most crazy to date was for dd, it was a Mothercare Paul Vogler one, it was all pink and sparkly. Even the rain cover!! They should make it again as it would do so well.

5in what did the Bugaboo make? >

Nic leave the kids with the inlaws and GO OUT.

nicolamumof3 · 04/07/2009 21:36

no they blardy well aren't!! but still they just come here all the time expecting to be fed and watered!! gggrrr!

well done on selling gecko, what did it go for hunnie??

nicolamumof3 · 04/07/2009 21:37

the inlaws wouldn't have them and im petrified of leaving them with them anyway there just not hands on or particularly affectionate shall we say!!

largeginandtonic · 04/07/2009 21:39

Hmmm hire a babysitter and casually mention you are off out for your hen night but didnt want to put them out so you have < insert babysitters name > to come over and help.

Then RUN

5inthebed · 04/07/2009 21:40

Only got £150 for it, but not to worry. It sold, thats the main thing Wish I'd bought that carrycot for £10 now as probably could have made another £30. Not to worry.

It is the Mutsy 4 rider lite . So excited. Just a bit dubious about sending money outside of Ebay, especially such a high amount. Just need to pay for it!

But totally pleased with the deal. Pram, footmuff, raincover and bag, all mutsy all good, fab condition.

5in i wouldn't do outside of ebay no way??? how much is it love?

nicolamumof3 · 04/07/2009 21:43

LG&T i like that idea

pebbles79 · 04/07/2009 21:43

Totally O/T but what do you all think of this? I'm going to attempt something similar for DS1's birthday!!! I used to be very artistic and did a bit of cake decorating in school but do you think it's a bit ambitious for someone who hasn't decorated a cake in about 15 years?!!

nicolamumof3 · 04/07/2009 21:44

right im off to the safety and comfort of my bed! dp won't be home for another couple of hours yet so can have it all to myself for now. and then start tomorrow afresh with another list of jobs!

nicolamumof3 · 04/07/2009 21:45

That does look fab...go for it pebbles but i'd do a trial run (icing only) i think first. i haven't even thought about ds3's cake yet and its only just over a week away bless him. it will be from marks or sainsburys this year i think!

5inthebed · 04/07/2009 21:48

Really Nicola? Maybe I shouldn't then. Have done it a ew times and never had a problem. But I am a bit weary of the price tbh.

Pebbles, that looks fab! Wish I had the talent to do something like that. Would you just need to ice a cake to make it look like that?

Night NIc.

I have no idea about dealing outside of ebay. Is it too good to be true? Will it be a courier? What colour?

I dabble in cake decorating Pebble, see Peppa pig on my profile somewhere i think. Go for it. Grey is an easy colour to make too. You need big cake tins. I have some you could borrow if you need them.

5inthebed · 04/07/2009 21:49

Navy Frog going near me if anyone interested?

5inthebed · 04/07/2009 21:51

T'is this one. I don't need the car seat though so told the bloke so. The low ebay score is putting me off slightly as well.

maxybrown · 04/07/2009 21:55

5in......you can get them cheaper than that you know.......have seen one recently too.....damn it can't remeber. Do you want black?

largeginandtonic · 04/07/2009 21:55

Hmmmm 5in, not sure really. I think you should hold out.

The frog looks great! I would swap for the Gecko i am waiting on!!

pebbles79 · 04/07/2009 21:58

I've bought a cake tin, well a mould I suppose, lol! It's one of those silicone ones, not sure how good they are though? They cake bit I'm fine with although DS doesn't like jam or cream so I think I'll sandwich it with caramel . Am I best making my own icing or buying some ready to roll stuff?

5inthebed · 04/07/2009 21:58

I'm not paying £200 for it!
I was going to arrange courier. If I pay PP, but not gifted, how hard is it to claim money back if he doesn't actually send it?
Not bothered on colour Maxy...is yours still available?

OP posts:
pebbles79 · 04/07/2009 22:00

5in just make sure you don't pay personal payment and you should still be covered with paypal.

maxybrown · 04/07/2009 22:00

lol I have had a fight for it today....well sort of. Girl who was having it was being a slight pest. So Ninja is meant to be having it and collecting on Tuesday , and now the girl is hounding me begging for it

Odd

Have you looked on gumtree? It was either manchester gunmtree or preloved I saw nice one.

5inthebed · 04/07/2009 22:04

Nobody seems to use Gumtree near me
