maxybrown · 05/07/2009 09:24

My DH IS lovely....even if I do say so myself . He never encourages me to buy ANYTHING though, let's just get that one straight, especially prams lol

5inthebed · 05/07/2009 11:07

Morning Maxy, you're looking beautiful today . I've text that person about the Mutsy, just waiting for a reply. I'll let you know what she says.

DH took the kids out so I could have a nice lie in this morning. Feel so much better after a good nights sleep. DS3 didn't sleep well Thursday or Friday night, but slept right through last night as it was cooler. Hoping for a repeat performance tonight as I've got a driving lesson at half 9!

lol 5in glad you got it. how much was the ebay one then?

i just got home got some congestion tablets in boots hope they help and had a wonder round shops, still v.warm out supposed to be cooler today but its not. supposed to be down to 17c tomorrow! hope so not feeling well its a struggle in this heat.

got the boys some lovely ticking stripe trousers in peacocks v.bodenesque! £4!

FlyMeToDunoon · 05/07/2009 14:39

Just got back from uptown too. We all did Macdonalds and then I took DD3 in the pushchair and tried to find a bra to fit. Tried on 6 and one fitted so I guess that is a success.
Sticky here and I'm hoping for cooler weather.
Yay on mutsy 5in although I have lost track again of wants what and is getting what.
Presumably BJMCs arriving tomorrow?

FlyMeToDunoon · 05/07/2009 14:44

maxy I didn't find the screw for the Infinity. The woman who sold it to me said she had taken it into a hardware shop and they had found one that fitted.
I phoned Hauck and they said that they are having problems sourcing that screw and may have some in a few weeks and to keep trying.

maxybrown · 05/07/2009 15:12

Ah right. I had that problem with my silver cross but fortunately silver cross themselves could fix it. It must be a common fault as one on ebay goes today that has same fault!! That's why I asked how easy it was to source.

Now then, do I want a cream infinity. As new??

FlyMeToDunoon · 05/07/2009 15:22

ooh pic?
Liaghen's had a broken handle too but different bit. Must be a vulnerable area.
I am debating wether to use bits of the blue Infinity to make one decent chassis or just choose best and sell other one. I could sell each screw off to other Infinity owners.lol

maxybrown · 05/07/2009 15:27

lol, yes you could make a bomb it's this dunoon. quick help me! haven't got enough funds yet but he said he can wait a few days so need to get selling!

pebbles79 · 05/07/2009 15:28

I would probably make yourself a decent infinity and then sell off bits of the chassis - wheels/basket/screws etc and sell off the covers. Blue is as rare as the pink and black covers so would probably make more money and much easier to pack that a full pushchair.

FlyMeToDunoon · 05/07/2009 15:51

Sound like a plan!
The cream one looks in wonderful condition maxy.

maxybrown · 05/07/2009 15:59

yes, they still have box and everything. Wanted red, but suppose I could get a red buggy sbuggle for winter always wanted the star one!

5inthebed · 05/07/2009 16:20

Nice Infinity Maxy! Not alight coloured pram fan, but that looks in great condition.

The Mutsy person said she can drop the pram off at her mams if it is closer to you. The two postcodes are Offerton FK2 and Bredbury FK6. Are those near you at all?

OP posts:
maxybrown · 05/07/2009 16:27

You will find my dear that the postcodes are sk not fk yes bredbury is fab. I am jus up the road from there In fact my postcode is sk6 I can walk to that and put Ds in it to come home if you didn't mine. I better get it packed up quickly, Dh will pass out if he thinks I've bought another Mutsy straight away . I still haven't got your cat through with your number. I'll email you mine now.

I'm worried about the lightness of it too....

maxybrown · 05/07/2009 16:28

I can't spell today sorry!

5inthebed · 05/07/2009 16:31

Oh . She had a dodgy accent
Don't mind your DS having a go in the pram at all! You're dong me a big favour collecting it!

She said the SK6 one is her mams address and she isn't in til tea time, as she watches her DC at her house at SK2. What day is good for you?

OP posts:
maxybrown · 05/07/2009 16:33

I have texted you 5in! lol at the dodgy accent......bet mine isn't Doesn't make much difference really tbh, just the money side of it....explained in text!!

5inthebed · 05/07/2009 16:36
