Pushchair shed July part 1 - is there such a thing as a perfect pram?

Bexie reminded me it was the first of July!

I am still on the search for a pram that does all I want it to!

Bexie, my DS2 lies down on the floor with cars and rolls them continuously past his eyes. He has only ever done the lining up thing once, and that was with a whole packet of pringles. Put them in lines from one end of my living room to the other and then ate them one after the other. Little monkey!

nicolamumof3 · 02/07/2009 23:00

that sounds good 5in

5inthebed · 02/07/2009 23:03

It was quite funny to watch Nicola. Couldn't really tell him off really could I!

Toms hummed the syllables to words for over a year. We thought it may have been because he couldn't hear properly, but they did a hearing test whilst he was under having his tonsils out, and it's fine. Hearing him hum 'electricity meter' is funny. He hums in the same way you say it, so if you shout, he hums loud.

We've been waiting since his ENT referall for the SALT assesment. As both were made at the same time, the ENT took priority, hence the delay. He starts nursery next month and his pals that are going are talking ok, one of them is 7 weeks younger than Tom.

sweetkitty · 02/07/2009 23:05

My two get smarties lay them out in colour order swap their favourite colours with each other then line them up and eat them one by one

Nicola - 2 aww how cute, DH is the 14th, DD3 is the 15th (by 4 hours wanted her to be born on DH's birthday), DD1 the 20th hence no pennies for prams this month

nicolamumof3 · 02/07/2009 23:06

nursery will no doubt help him tho bexie anyways.

5inthebed · 02/07/2009 23:06

DS2's ENT was a waste of time. He wouldn't sit still at all. They gave up in the end.

my goodness summer babies! they are nice tho easier in the night too to get up when its not ffffreezing! ds2 is december so i know the difference!

BexieID · 02/07/2009 23:09

When I eat sweets like Jelly Tots, I have to have one of each colour, then again and again, until I run out of a colour.

sweetkitty · 02/07/2009 23:10

Well I had this vision of having DD3 sleeping in her pram in the garden as a newborn and the other two playing nicely in the garden (as if) but it poured and was miserable all last Summer.

DD2 was a January babe wrapped up in her wee snowsuit beside DD1 in that God awful Twin Aria

nicolamumof3 · 02/07/2009 23:14

lol SK summer 2007 was the same ds3 wore all of ds2's newborn (winter outfits) more then his summer stuff!!

night night all xx

nicolamumof3 · 03/07/2009 06:53

morning all! hows everyone today? lots of heavy rain in the early hours at last. just waiting for sun to come back out!!

off to wedding venue this morning to tie up a few loose ends. waiting for payment on First Wheels then may just order that BJCM!!

lillypie · 03/07/2009 07:00

Morning Nicola,I have a 12 hour shift to look forward to today so I am quite hoping it will rain

Do you think you will like the BJCM they look quite large to me? Still it's a good price if you fancy trying it.

How long till the wedding now?

buggylovinmummy · 03/07/2009 07:34

The BJCM does feel a bit big at first if your used to a stroller but give it a couple of days and you get used to it.

It definatly isnt plasticky or flimsy its really sturdy.

Nic what colour will you get? Ive heard that the red/black/cream isnt that nice as the cream gets grubby so quick.

lillypie · 03/07/2009 07:40

I do fancy trying one but DD can be persuaded to ride in a buggy less and less

sal1309 · 03/07/2009 07:49

good morning all

well none of my stuff sold on ebay last night dispite lots of watchers

id like to try bjcm but skint got so much to payout for this month so need to make some pennies

Disenchanted3 · 03/07/2009 08:04

Awww crap sal,

Im putting all DDs clothes on today, just 24 hr auctions at 50p starting, just want rid.

I'd give them to charity shop but need to up my selling score so my funds dont get held when I sell.

nicolamumof3 · 03/07/2009 08:05

wedding is in two weeks lillypie

i will get black if i get a BJCM

5inthebed · 03/07/2009 08:08

I like your way of thinking Dis!

Crap about your stuff not selling Sal, I hate it when loads of people watch but nobody buys.

Lovely and sunny here, going to walk everywhere today I think. Got to collect a pracel for my mam and then take ds3 to a baby group.
