maxybrown · 02/07/2009 21:49

I know they can't do anything to me on ebay....I just think I am over considerate sometimes...damn it. I'm not soft, just too bloody polite for my own good

Disenchanted3 · 02/07/2009 21:51

I think they may be, Ill ask my mate, she will know for sure, then post back on here x

pebbles79 · 02/07/2009 21:53

If you bought it with the pink hood then the wings will be thin, they only did pink with thin wings.

dollydimple9 · 02/07/2009 21:54

I think they will be but want to be sure just in case i ever decide to sell but can't part with it just yet .Has yours got the new brake system?

Disenchanted3 · 02/07/2009 21:54

May be thin I mean ...

dollydimple9 · 02/07/2009 21:55

Thanks pebbles,Yes i bought it with the pink hood,to be honest they don't look fat, just fatter at the top then bottom

dollydimple9 · 02/07/2009 22:08

Right now i think ive sorted the Bee i have another question about my Cam.Does anyone have the denim bases or know anyone that has? I bought mine new in january the full 09 cam with denim bases and when it arrived they had a really strong fishy smell lol, i presumed it was the fire retardent stuff but 6 months on (although ive hardly used it)and they still stink and whenever i put it in the car the kids complain it smells that bad, just wondered if they all smell like this . Bet you all think im mad!

nicolamumof3 · 02/07/2009 22:13

eeeurghhhh! thats another nail in the coffin for bugs as far as im concerned!!

dollydimple9 · 02/07/2009 22:20

Oh no nic i love my bug, but i wouldnt recommend the denim bases unless someone tells me its just mine lol , i had the sand bases on my last cam the older model but i bought it new and they never smelt fishy lol but have to admit its a bit off putting although i do still love it

BexieID · 02/07/2009 22:23

lol @ fishy smell.

Toms SALT assesment is Friday 17th July, 2 days before we goto my mums. The assesment is to see if he actually needs speech therapy or not. Will be interesting.

nicolamumof3 · 02/07/2009 22:32

have you washed them?

day before our wedding bexie!

5inthebed · 02/07/2009 22:33

Reduced the Gecko for the final time here

How is his speaking normally Bex? Were you saying the other week that he might have ASD, or am I thinking about someone else? My DS2 has autism, so if you ever need any advice, I can try . He has a lovely SALT, and his speaking has come on so well since he started with her.

Whew all books listed.
Bo-ring!
Must now check out for the night as I was up late last night.
Congratulations to all of those who have fulfilled their BJCM dreams.

Full and frank opinions when they all arrive.

nicolamumof3 · 02/07/2009 22:39

what does SALT stand for?

dollydimple9 · 02/07/2009 22:41

No i have nt washed them, i wouldnt fit the seat or carrycot {never used that} in the washing machine

BexieID · 02/07/2009 22:42

He has only started saying any words since he had his tonsils/adenoids out at the end of January. He does still hum the sylables to some words, so for 'a big lorry', he'll say "a big hmm-hmm".

I did wonder if Tom was ASD. Even SIL has made comments in the past. He likes to lie on the floor and watch the wheels of cars go round and also likes lining his cars all up!

BexieID · 02/07/2009 22:43

Speech and Language Therapy.

maxybrown · 02/07/2009 22:48

My DS likes lining cars up too....but he also loves to nee owww them across the floor etc! There's the key

maxybrown · 02/07/2009 22:50

Bexie, can I jsut ask though about the humming of syllables? DS does that....

pebbles79 · 02/07/2009 22:55

My DS1 used to line up cars all the time too, we were constantly tripping over cars, lol! He'd have his big 'cars' (little tikes one, bike, scooter etc) and then all his little cars. He was also a slow speaker but is absolutely fine now and one of the cleverest in his class.

nicolamumof3 · 02/07/2009 22:56

maxy i've been worred about luka's speech he is finally making some recognisable sounds but nothing like the language that tate had at 2yrs old he could say loads. he gets referral to ENT next month to test hearing because of his repeated ear infections they think he has damaged ear drum.

sweetkitty · 02/07/2009 22:56

I would put fishy Bug outside for a few days and mow the grass lovely fresh smell, I do that with anything my parents or MIL gives me that I cannot wash as it stinks of smoke but a few days outside helps.

Nicola - oh how exciting about your wedding, that's just before DD1's birthday and a few days after DD3's.

Disenchanted3 · 02/07/2009 22:57

Oh dear, bee lady was sent photobucket pics, shes just emailed me to ask if they are all really buggies Ive had

She was like this
