lol at people's grubbyness! It's not even so much THEIR grubbyness, it's the fact they would pass it on like that...talking of which I am just going to upload my Mutsy pics now. Was hoping to wait until I had the bumper bar but she hasn't been yet .

Dunoon I know exactly where you are coming from though! What about buying a small tin of spray paint one day and spraying the frame?

basl · 19/06/2009 14:13

Does anyone know if you can sent fund from paypal into vias card. I have been saving to buy the bjce and plo only take credit card. If my husband noticed how much i paid and that i have bought yet another buggy (7 now and he is only 10mths) he will be so mad. I just missed an ex display one on ebay as my bt internet was down and when it came back on it had been sold new for £190 i was gutted. I really don't know what to do i really want it but wonder if there is something else that would match but not so expensive. I have the city mini but it does not have such good suspension for the walk to nursery i do everyday. I do love it but wish i had a nice bouncy pushchair which would handle the walk and if it was reasonable i could keep the city min. Any ideas.

nicolamumof3 · 19/06/2009 14:14

well you know how fussy i am, thats why i couldn't really buy s/hand i think unless i knew it had barely been used, i know i could wash all the fabrics, how people push their children around in these filthy things is beyond me!!

BLM im glad you like BJCM i might have to try one!! did you get all black? thats the only colour i like it in.

nicolamumof3 · 19/06/2009 14:17

basl you really want the elite, i'd get it. i 've been the same obsessing over things before in the past. the only thing i did get as a budget buy that i have loved is my nipper 360. i wanted a mb at the time but couldn't bring myself to spend £400 on one so i got the nipper for £175 b/new. have been v.happy with it. i think the elite looks lovely tho. how much is it at PLO? you can get a visa card through paypal btw.

maxybrown · 19/06/2009 14:18

lol Nic, I know you are! But you know i would never sell anything manky...er well actually none of my prams are manky when I have them either, oh you know what I mean! Just uploading now. Wish I'd done pics of before so you could all see. It looks tons better!

NormaSknockers · 19/06/2009 14:20

Basl if you get yourself a Paypal card it only takes about 5 days to come through & you can transfer your Paypal balance onto it, you can use it anywhere they accept VISA

basl · 19/06/2009 14:21

Nic it is £289 in all black. I did like the whole fold thing but i really don't need that as i am happy for it to sit up all the time just for nurery run. I also like my little ones legs to have a support and the elite seems to tick all the boxes. I do like the sound of the nipper i have alway been interested when you have talked about it.

nicolamumof3 · 19/06/2009 14:29

zapp in orient £100 at mothercare

maxybrown · 19/06/2009 14:31

ok done them finally! Please excuse the following....the fact that the shopping basket is missing, it was on the line drying when i took the pics....that DS has left his bowl that had orange in on the floor behind the pram so I look like I leave everything scattered over my garden....the pillowcas that is in with him - this is not usual at all but a long story there now then here they here in Mutsy folder. Showed with bottom part of footmuff on as liner and without

NormaSknockers · 19/06/2009 14:37

Basl have you bought from PLO before? If not I have a 5% off voucher code for new customers to PLO you could use bringing it down to £275

NormaSknockers · 19/06/2009 14:39

Maxy your DS is so cute! Love the Mutsy too!

sweetkitty · 19/06/2009 14:43

maxy - mutsy looks v nice

FMTD - that you aren't happy with the Infinity I know you really wanted one, def sell carrycot on and try sone sprapaint for the black bits or even one of those pen things they sell for car scratches

SGK - a frog costs a lot of money and not to keep it nice baffles me. I am needing to give the Luna a clean as DD3 had a biscuit in it the other day and I am very fussy about allowing them to eat in a pram, I have a friend and she had a buggy a week and it was disgusting her DS used to eat and sleep in it.

I have decided the perfect pram for me would be: rear and front facing, quite light and must be easy to fold in and out of car, bumper bar and very upright seat and be preferably pink lol, what do you ladies think?

basl · 19/06/2009 14:44

norma thanks so much but yes i bought the city mini from them and what a great service. I noticed on a website just now pram world that it was around £269 ? and phoned plo whos said they would price match and deduct about 10% that can't be bad. I just love everything about the elite and have followed all your comments on it and it just seems perfect kicking myself for buying the mini first. I do get tempted when other people talk about the infinity and those mutsy pictures look great and the vigour but my wee man is big and the wide seat of the jogger would be perfect. I know where my husband is coming from and really everyone think i have some kind of depression and this is the result. Well i just want the perfect buggy to walk with everyday and untill you try them you just don't know. Norma that was so kind thanks again.

buggylovinmummy · 19/06/2009 14:49

nic yes i got it in black

NormaSknockers · 19/06/2009 14:49

No problem at all, I wouldn't be without my Elite it's by far the best 3 wheeler I have ever owned. Oh yes PLO are very good at price matching, have done that before!

maxybrown · 19/06/2009 14:51

Thanks . basl....I know what you mean about people thinking it's a depression!!!!

basl · 19/06/2009 16:24

OMG!!!!i just asked hubby right out about using the visa card to buy the elite. He just agreed and said make this the last. I am so excited but really hope this is the one but i am sure i will need a little stroller for holiday. I will worry about that later. Oh do you think i am doing the right thing

NormaSknockers · 19/06/2009 16:44

Fabby! Go for it if DH has said to, you'll love it!

Maclaren · 19/06/2009 17:21

I am confuded 9although it doesnt take much lol) an elite what and who is PLO???

NormaSknockers · 19/06/2009 17:33

Baby Jogger City Elite (tis what I have too), PLO = Precious Little One, bit like Kiddicare but better IMO

Maclaren · 19/06/2009 17:45

NS thanks i am a nosy bint lol!

buggylovinmummy · 19/06/2009 17:57

Ooh basl how exciting. Will you keep your BJCM as well?

I,m loving mine, i love the way it folds its amazing!! Doesnt take much to amaze me lol

JigglyPiggy · 19/06/2009 17:59

Hi all,

can i intrude with some questions again?

Now that DS is here I want my buggies to look boyish (don't think pink is a good look for him!) Can you recommend anywhere that is good for liners/footmuffs but in boy colours?

I have been looking on ebay and there is lots of funky girl items but nothing exciting for boys.

At the minute I have a loola, maxi taxi and zapp - none of which I think you can customise the hoods to match liners etc so I dont know whether to get something universal for these or splash out on a second hand bugaboo. What are the pros / cons of getting a bug?

Im still tempted by the BJCM (black one in Boots) but wondered if its possible to get funky accesories/hoods for this?

Also what age is the strolli thingy suitable upto? DD is now 4 and complaining about all the walking to preschool and baby groups!

NormaSknockers · 19/06/2009 18:00

BLM how many times have you folded/unfolded it? The BJCE folds the same way which is an added bonus, I wasn't sure it would before I got it but was sochuffed to find it did lol! I want another BJCM alongside my BJCE

horsemadgal · 19/06/2009 18:17

Jiggly, Chunkle Munkle does Zapp hood and accessories.
She is also starting to do hoods for BJCM, already does liners etc.
www.chunkle-munkle.co.uk/
Would be worth e-mailing her.
