Morning ladies - sorry to crash your thread but does anyone have an Isofix base for a Primo Viaggio car seat knocking about that they want rid of?? TIA.

nicolamumof3 · 19/06/2009 11:51

Thats alright hunnie, i totally understand where you're coming from.

just looking up completed listings for elc garage they seem to sell well and i have 9 extra cars for it, so going to photograph it and get it listed!

sweetkitty · 19/06/2009 11:54

Nicola - I am always last on first dibs (goes off to sulk in the corner)

BLM - yey on BJCM arriving, happy pushing

Dis - which Ikea bunk beds you getting, we ended up getting the Amy ones from Argos as it meant I could get a storage unit thing on the wall beside it, DDs love them. I find that I shout more at DD1 who is almost 5 when out and about than DD2 who is 3, she is a great little walker

I'm feeling sorry for myself today, back from GP, DD3 has croup but there's nothing they can give her, DD2 has molluscum (wart things) on her arm nothing they can give her, DD1 has a cough and I have a tummy bug. I am going to order some new bed linen for our room today, does anyone else buy loads for the kids rooms but neglect their own bedroom?

Disenchanted3 · 19/06/2009 12:01

YEYE FOR MONDAY! SHOULD GET THEM BOTH THEN

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/06/2009 13:01

Hi all. Didn't mean to bring you all down with my guilt.
Well the Infinity came and.......

Its not exactly in fab condition.
A bit grubby.
Splits in handle.
Every nut and screw is scraped so that the silver shows through the black paint.
The wheels are 'sticky'
The bumper bar flops.

So I spent the norning washing the covers and the wheels and the frame. Will oil bits when frame dry. The covers have come up very nicely.
Now I have mixed felings since all I wanted was an old £50 Infinity and yes that is what I have got but its never exactly thrilling is it to get something a bit beaten up.
I could have tried asking for her to take it back or for a refund but hey I am no good at awkward situations and maybe for £60 it is ok.
The carrycot is in great condition although it is a different colour-Fudge maybe and I will definitly try and sell it. Don't think they go for much.

NormaSknockers · 19/06/2009 13:12

That's not a bad price to have the carrycot with it too FMTD I'm sure you'd back some back selling the carrycot on

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/06/2009 13:21

Norma would you put a carrycot on at a set price-if so how much [clean good condition but no raincover]?
Or start at a low price?

NormaSknockers · 19/06/2009 13:27

Well I sold mine on BIN for £45 but it had the raincover & was immaculate so maybe BIN for £35?

lecohen · 19/06/2009 13:30

Hi dis, interested to know how board is on firstwheels when you get it. I sold the buggy I use with a board so will use it with infinity until i sell and or get a new buggy - prob babydan stockholm but it's so great with the infinity

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/06/2009 13:35

Thanks Norma will try that.

SparklyGothKat · 19/06/2009 13:49

I recieved a broken frog today I knew the chassis was broken, only wanted the fabs and the cosytoes and parasol. Well the wheels were caked in mud, and grass. The frame was muddy too. The fabs were dirty and mouldly... anyway have clean the fabs and got the mould off, and cleaned all the wheels and frame but annoyed she dropped it my friend's house like that (my friend posted it for me) was only £62 but feel she couldn't be bothered to clean it after it sold so low

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/06/2009 14:00

The seller of this pushchair, who was lovely btw, said 'oh and you can take the covers off to wash them. I have done that once before'

buggylovinmummy · 19/06/2009 14:10

I took the BJCM into town and its lovely to push, i did bump into a few things at first though as its wider than my quest

My ds loves it and is asleep in it right now which is something he never normally does so it must be extra comfy for him. It has a lovely big deep seat great for my ds whos nearly 3, hes still got loads of room in it though.

Thumbs up from me
