blm I am so glad you got the new one and glad you like it. Unfortunatley i am going to have to sell the mini i really don't want to but i think hubby wants to see the visa bill down and he still no idea how much the elite is. I think there will be words the day the visa bill comes in. I am going to get a little stroller to go on holiday and for when i go on the bus or my mum's tiny car is giving us a lift. I really would love to keep it but i should not complain. I strangely feel very guilty about this next purchase but i really want it. Oh and lol when you said bumped into a few things as i did that. Clipping the odd heel on the way.

nicolamumof3 · 19/06/2009 18:35

Basl im so glad you can get it, thats fab! yes sell the mini and have the elite and get a mac quest! job done! i love my three wheeler and maclaren covers lots of boxes (just not rearfacing, but with my youngest almost two have to give up that dream!)

maxy mutsy looks lovely so does ds he's just gorgeous!

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/06/2009 18:36

Hellooo I have put Infinity back together and it is certainly looking better. I will give it a spin tomorrow. Lots of play in the chassis is that normal?
Got a second chance on another lime one for £48 but she would only do pick up now. So that was out but a bit gutting because it was in better nick.
I will consider getting a pen to touch up bits on the frame as most scrapes are on screws and wouldn't want to spray them in case they seized up.

Oh and have tried to repair bumper bar and it is really knackered-bits broken inside bits that adjust.

Hoping carrycot sells and then I will only have paid 25 for the pushchair!

NormaSknockers · 19/06/2009 18:36

Jiggly Lucy @ Snunkie does fab Zapp stuff, she also has the Zapp hood frames so no need to send her yours. This is my Zapp that I had customised by Snunkie

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/06/2009 18:37

Oh maxy love the look of your mutsy btw and DS very sweet.

Disenchanted3 · 19/06/2009 18:42

Basi, how much for BJCM?

pebbles79 · 19/06/2009 18:42

Your Mutsy looks great Maxy and DS is gorgeous - looks very comfy in there.

pebbles79 · 19/06/2009 18:44

I really should take my BJCM for a spin and get the dust off it, lol! I'm hoping I use it more in the holidays when I'll be doing alot more bus hopping.

JigglyPiggy · 19/06/2009 18:50

Thanks for the recommendations horsemadgal & norma.

Norma - your zapp is lovely! re the hood frames does this mean that with other suppliers you would have to send them your hood? I'm wondering if something similar could be done with the loola hood i.e. covered with a chosen fabric as you cannot remove the original fabric?

I know it probably sounds daft but im getting frustrated with my loola for that reason and thats why im eyeing up bugs on ebay!

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/06/2009 18:51

just took Infinity up the road for a quick go and I like it!

pebbles79 · 19/06/2009 18:53

Lucy at Snunkie re-covered my Infinity hood for me. Means you loose your original fabric on the hood but as you can see it's worth it!

NormaSknockers · 19/06/2009 18:56

Jiggly Lucy can pretty much customise any hood going now, but the only frames she has in stock are the Zapp ones so like pebbles said you would need to send Lucy your hood (or a spare hood) for the fabric to be cut away & a new one stitched in it's place - very well worth it though!

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/06/2009 18:57

pebbles I went on Snunkie website yesterday and I have seen your Infinity from every angle and with and without every accessory imaginable!
It is gorgeous. you must turn heads

JigglyPiggy · 19/06/2009 19:01

Pebbles - your infinity is gorgeous. Can I ask do you use it for a girl or boy? I'm loving the black and white at the moment but not sure about floral patterns for a boy as I have a maclaren bed of roses footmuff but not sure if its too girly!

NormaSknockers · 19/06/2009 19:11

The only 'flowers' I'd put DS in would be Hiawian hibicus flowers, but that's just me

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/06/2009 19:13

Norma!

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/06/2009 19:16

Advice please! I am selling this carrycot as immaculate but in fact there is a slight mark on the hood. Now do I:
a] list more accurately
b] attempt to clean and not leave evidence if so tell me how!
c] leave it.

pebbles79 · 19/06/2009 19:17

I use it for a girl, you could always go for black and white ironworks fabric, that might be ok for a boy.

Lol, I do turn heads FMTD, exactly the reaction I wanted, lol!

pebbles79 · 19/06/2009 19:18

Oh, and personally I wouldn't put my DS in something flowery.

JigglyPiggy · 19/06/2009 19:27

That will teach me to buy things on ebay etc before knowing the sex of the baby! Will have to stop looking at the bed of roses puschchair on ebay as well then

sal1309 · 19/06/2009 19:39

right what do you think guys i may have the offer of a swop my zia for a hot pink zapp do i or dont i??

5inthebed · 19/06/2009 19:43

Glad you like the BJCM BLM. Now can you see why I was reluctant to sell mine

Sal, I'd swap, but thats because I don't like Zias.

Got the bug basket today. Looks lovely red basket and black fabrics! Just need to collect footmuff from post office tomorrow

Dunoon, hope you enjoy taking the infinity out tomorrow.

nicolamumof3 · 19/06/2009 20:03

my boys have worn floral shirts like daddy, but think i would draw the line at flowery pushchair.

i'd love a bed of roses mac, but i would have to put a girl in it!!

Disenchanted3 · 19/06/2009 20:10

Not buggies but fabulously cheap - thought id share!!

bought the whole set for kids new room!

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/06/2009 20:11

Any domestic goddesses going to advise me on how/wether to clean carrycot hood?
