FMTD - is that the green Infinity? Know what you mean I am trying to not buy another one as well as I have too much else to pay for this month and DH will go mad as well.

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/06/2009 09:00

Seller dropping it off soon. Must go and get DD2 to nursery so as to get back in time!
Full report later.

pebbles79 · 19/06/2009 09:05

You haven't spent that much FMTD and if prams are your hobby and the only thing that you buy for 'yourself' then I think us mums deserve it. Honestly, I buy NOTHING for myself and if I do it's a cheap pair of jeans from Primark or something.

sweetkitty · 19/06/2009 09:09

I agree Peebles it isn't a £600 Bug or something.

Try and enjoy it FMTD no nursery for us today

Disenchanted3 · 19/06/2009 09:32

I always think that when I feel bad, I don't drink, smoke, go out, have nice shoes or clothes, just my buggies and I always sell one to buy another iykwim?

sweetkitty · 19/06/2009 09:34

Same here Dis used to be hangbags now it is prams lol

Disenchanted3 · 19/06/2009 09:46

Its not heroin tho is it? Can't be that bad!! lol

I bought that pink skully footmuff on for sale, its gorgeous,, gonna use it on bee with pink hood too!
!!

Am thinking I shouldn't have bought that first wheels now

I really love bee and its got a bright pink hood!!

Mind you if they do custom hoods for first wheels I could sell bee and get pink hood for that?!

Arggh, descisions!!

pebbles79 · 19/06/2009 09:48

I think you'll keep the Bee, especially if you love it as much as I love mine! I love it even more since I got my denim/hearts set - really makes it stand out. Firstwheels might be better with a buggyboard though if it's anything like the Infinity.

sweetkitty · 19/06/2009 09:52

I think you will keep Bee too

Let me know what you think about the First wheels I might be tempted to buy it off you (ignore all previous comments about having no money this month )

Disenchanted3 · 19/06/2009 09:52

yES THATS THE MAIN REASON i GOT IT TBH pebles,

oops caps sorry

The infinity was awesome with a board when dexter was small.

I've not put it on the bee yet ... the bee looks too little and fragile!!

DH says its like a dolls pram

(he loves it too tho)

We put the handle all the way down and Addison pushes Aurora in it

Plus I'll never get another thin winged one at the price I got this for!!

pebbles79 · 19/06/2009 09:55

Buggyboard isn't great on the Bee, I've tried it once. The baby in the pram is too close and kicks, lol! Then ends up in a big tantrum between the two with them hitting each other!

Disenchanted3 · 19/06/2009 09:57

Lol, shes only 6 months so might not bee too much of a problem with kicking but I'm just not keen on adding a board, its just seems to delicate??

I'll have to just wait and see what happens with first wheels, though im positive its already won on the buggyboard front.

Which is a big win really as even though I've got quest for him, I really want Dexter walking more, he is 3 now!

pebbles79 · 19/06/2009 10:01

I've not actually used the buggyboard for a few weeks but I do get really stressed when out with Liam! He's either 100 yards in front of me or 100 yards behind so I spend my whole time shouting 'Liam wait!' or 'Liam, hurry up'!

Disenchanted3 · 19/06/2009 10:03

I bought mine about a month ago and have used it once!!

DH is always with me so we take a buggy each usually.

NormaSknockers · 19/06/2009 10:43

I'm so pleased I got the Strolli - it's the best thing I've ever bought! DD loves it & is happy to go on so makes life a lot easier, plus I don't have to hunch over it as it's next to me as opposed to infront of me. Do you still have yours Pebbles?

pebbles79 · 19/06/2009 10:52

No, I sold mine a loooong time ago, DS never took to it but I think he was just too young at the time and would probably be ok now. That was back in the days when I was in denial about needing a double, lol!

Did you get an ebay code yet? Would be interested in what you get at 1000 although I've got over 300 to go before I get there.

nicolamumof3 · 19/06/2009 10:54

morning all, i have just come back from my stint at school early as tate not well and i have a huge mountain of ironing.

dis it is so much easier out and about with two pairs of hands. the buggy board has been a lifesaver for me since selling p&t but quick trips and school runs im really encouraging tate to walk now.

i love that stokke footmuff i was looking at orange nomad one on kiddicare but del is £7.95 if you spend less than £80 with them

FMTD don't feel guilty its you're only pleasure!! im the same, all my money goes on kids its what makes me happy tho. they have lovely clothes at least!

NormaSknockers · 19/06/2009 10:57

Nope nothing except a red star

DD loves it, much easier then a double lol!

5inthebed · 19/06/2009 11:35

Aaargh!!! Missed the postman and got a collection notice for post ofice. Not sure if it is the footmuff or the basket either. So annoyed! He was early today!

Dis, love the Ikea bunk bead you're getting your DS's. I love Ikea stuff!

5inthebed · 19/06/2009 11:35
