Norma, the Zapp looks great! Love the fabric, really pretty.

Sold the crib on Ebay! So another £30 towards my pram fund . Now just need the Mac to sell.

nicolamumof3 · 03/06/2009 19:58

well done 5in. ive nearly got enough for 4seasons too!! its amazing how it all adds up!

pebbles79 · 03/06/2009 20:07

Zapp is gorgeous!

nicolamumof3 · 03/06/2009 20:10

Wheres dunoon?? been wondering if her jane had arrived today?

maxybrown · 03/06/2009 20:22

Norma I have researched the fabric and found it.....may see what I can create with the fabric lol! Apart from a mess that is!

liahgen · 03/06/2009 20:24

ok ladies,

which cheap pushchair for my small 2yr dd.

Don't want buggy type,

I have at moment, clapped out infinity which I have loved.

Nicole has suggested 3 wheeler but limited budget, (50 quid)

needs to lie down, no need to fold small have buggy for the car.

Thanks in advance,

Happy with 2nd hand obviously. Used to have a jane which I loved, do they still make them? think it was slalom or similar

horsemadgal · 03/06/2009 20:52

You'd probably get a Jane Powertrack for £50, Slalom if very lucky.

NormaSknockers · 03/06/2009 20:54

Well done 5in mounts up quickly doesn't it!

NaccetyMac · 03/06/2009 21:14

Hello I have a minor pushchair addiction and have just bought my first Zapp (due to arrive tomorrow, ooooooo, exciting!)

I have a Jane Powertrack 360 (new to me) that I very love, but I've busted the brake bar, any ideas for a cheapo replacement?

I love this thread, but I think it may be dangerous for me!

nicolamumof3 · 03/06/2009 21:16

helly NM! did you get the breen zapp from maclaren?? tis v.gorgeous colour.

nicolamumof3 · 03/06/2009 21:16

NaccetyMac · 03/06/2009 21:33

Yes, it looks very beautiful indeed.

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/06/2009 21:37

Hi I have been updating software which takes ages.
Computer was running so slow I thought I had better.
Energy pic here
Just one for the minute. I love it. The seat is in two shades of red and the green is really zingy. Felt nice to push on school run and DD said she likes it too. The fabrics are the great Jane ones.
It came in the most massive box that I thought there must have been a mistake but no, there was an Energy nestling at the bottom of it.Lol
On the downside the hood is small and has the annoying Jane click click pull down mechanism. The raincover is bulky and will fill up the basket-another Jane speciality!

Volo sale fell through due to the marking on the hood. I am still not sure if that was caused by the washing or had been there since the day before when I used the hood a fair bit since the sun was very strong. Relisted now.

pebbles79 · 03/06/2009 21:43

I love that colourway, that what I had on my Powertwin

nicolamumof3 · 03/06/2009 21:49

love the colour too, not sure about black bit on legrest but otherwise looks great i like the big wheels bet its a comfy ride for dd?

won't marks come off hood with a bit of cif? as its that plasticky material (if on yellow bit?)

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/06/2009 21:53

Marks on hood are actually where the folding part has rubbed some of the yellowy stuff off and you can see the black fabric underneath coming through. Was so annoyed.

Energy seems comfy for DD. Nice upright seat, lots of legroom. Easy to push over and up kerbs-not like volo which often jammed at the smallest thing.

nicolamumof3 · 03/06/2009 22:04

the wheels look so much bigger than volo. are there any pockets in back at all? looks more padded too. and will be so much comfier for you to push. glad you got it. are you missing mb yet? or is it nice being a one pushchair family.

i am missing having a little buggy loads.

nicolamumof3 · 03/06/2009 22:05

oh and what a bummer about the hood? re-advertise here tho? someone might want a volo now hols season starting. thats the only thing i didn't like about that citrus volo was the plasticky feel of that yellow trim. shame.

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/06/2009 22:10

Oh no, no pocket on hood! There was on the older model one I had off ebay.
Nice bit of a head cushion and yes nicer seat all round.
Am not missing MB atm. I did yesterday trying to get Volo across Calverly Park. Pushing Jane felt similar to feel of MB-smooth and with suspension!

nicolamumof3 · 03/06/2009 22:14

oh nice, so you think thats it now dunoon??

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/06/2009 22:18

heh heh
Maybe.........

Actually at the moment I hope so. I have had enough of packaging, selling, ebay! and moving pushchairs out of the way to get from a-b in my house. Lol

What has happened to Dis?

nicolamumof3 · 03/06/2009 22:27

she's on hols this week.

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/06/2009 22:37

Ah right.
