ooooo, how much for???
How old is your Ds that uses it? Maybe thinking it would be too small for my little Sumo, but not sure.

nicolamumof3 · 03/06/2009 09:33

no it wouldn't be too small 5in?

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/06/2009 09:58

Volo sold last night so the covers are in the machine and the hood [nervous emoticon]
Lots of clunking!
Gentle wash so fingers crossed.

Hopefully Energy will arrive today at a time I am in so I won't be without a pushchair.

Still hot here despite them saying it would be overcast and cooler.

NationalFlight · 03/06/2009 10:05

Flyme, lol at the bumbo incident - is there actually a type of child who CAN use it properly? Couldn't get mine in his legs were so fat!!

Thankyou for the tip off about the mac, that's brill - I offered 86 and just got a counter offer of 95! but I guess she may have had another higher one in between.

I think I'll decline it, not in a big rush to get one so you never know.

nicolamumof3 · 03/06/2009 10:06

well done dunoon! thats fab news, did you put hood in pillowcase? i do it like that and its always fine. hope energy comes soon and its ideal buggy for you.

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/06/2009 10:15

National you could counter back at a slightly higher amount if you wanted.

Well hood is out and relatively unscathed but I have noticed that there are slight marks in the lime bit where the folding mechanism rubs it.
Damn.
Will have to mention it.

NormaSknockers · 03/06/2009 10:19

5in I paid £430 (had it from new) about 4 months ago & it's in excellent condition (with orginal box, cupholder, unused raincover) so would want £260 posted for it on here. My DS is 10 months & has bags of room in it, could even put DD in it if I really wanted to & she's almost 3!

NormaSknockers · 03/06/2009 10:53

Nope - scrap that, took it outside to photograph & couldn't bring myself to do it! DH thinks I should keep it too so I will, DS may not like facing me that much but tough he'll have to suffer looking at Mummy lol

5inthebed · 03/06/2009 11:39

LOL, don't blame you! It's a lovely pram, especially with the extras you bought for it.

Just had a 2 hour driving lesson, it was soooooooooooo hot!

sal1309 · 03/06/2009 13:18

NormaSknockers · 03/06/2009 15:03

I'm seriously in love with it - can't wait to parade down the street with it

nicolamumof3 · 03/06/2009 16:08

NormaSknockers · 03/06/2009 16:26

nicolamumof3 · 03/06/2009 16:30

maxybrown · 03/06/2009 17:09

hey Norma I love that. i can't stand the bloomin zapp but love that! Where did you get those done if you don't mind me asking? And can you get them done for other pushchairs??

NormaSknockers · 03/06/2009 17:22

Maxy Lucy at Snunkie custom made them for me she can do hoods/covers/liners/bags etc etc for pretty much any pushchair on the market!

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/06/2009 17:57

That Lucy is very talented!
Is that a seat liner or a complete seat?

oooh! i love it.....I have a thing about cute little animals on things....was that your design??(goes off to look at website...)

NormaSknockers · 03/06/2009 19:16

FMTD It's a liner, so just sits in the seat unit & has velcro on the back to secure it so no slipping down

Maxy the fabric is called 2D Zoo by Alexandra Henry - really lovely in the flesh!

maxybrown · 03/06/2009 19:30

ooooohhh!! I have mac in green and brown.....and it prob won't go (although there is green in it isn't there?) but i don't care it's very yummy. I have Nipper too, but would want more than a little liner in it lol

NormaSknockers · 03/06/2009 19:38

There is a different colour one...think it's multi not sure off the top of my head. Lucy has loads of fabrics, lots more then what's on the site & she's always happy to order stuff in. That's my problem too, I can't stop at just a liner lol!
