V. strange but surely quite nice? I always feel great for the first 24 hrs my DDs are away and the start missing them! Bizarre.

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/03/2009 10:00

Nicola would you combine automatically or just send seperatly if you hadnt heard by say 12? I am a little worried about the hood being squashed in with the pushchair as I dont have the original box and was going to reuse CarGirl's cardboard.

Hopi · 11/03/2009 10:37

Thanks Nicola. I can't do a wanted post though as I don't have CAT
Ah well, back to fleabay for me!

Could do with the money. But will I regret selling next week and next winter?

but the fact t plastic has cracked is bugging me.

jenwa · 11/03/2009 13:07

Hi All
I finally got my buggy
Got the maclaren quest in pink and brown in the end that I wanted. Got of Ebay, won it sunday and it arrived today and I love it . the basket is soooo small to what I am used to but its sooo light and fab. I just need to get a matching pink footmuff and seen some on ebay so will have to bid on one.
Will keep my mothercare atlan as handy if need to do olots of shopping as big basket but the maclaren is lovely. Love the colour.

Will have to start thinking about selling my big pram as will run out of space. Need to give My SIL her double buggy back to sell and put my atlan somewhere too.

Glad you liking your lunas, I did want one but thought basket was small but you obvioulsy got lots in your nicolamum. They do look fab though.

pebbles79 · 11/03/2009 13:09

The basket on the Luna is fab. Doesn't look big but it holds lots because it's so easy to get into. I can get about 3 or 4 asda bags full of shopping into mine!

BeehiveBaby · 11/03/2009 13:29

Has anyone had a BJCM? Thinking of replacing the aging Micralite but it does have to be a proper bus buggy, ie. pick up with one hand, not just fold with one hand!

I heart the green one:

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 11/03/2009 13:44

Beehive, BJCM is def one handed for the bus, although there is the clip, but what I do is pick up to fold and carry on all in one, then when sitting down on the bus do the clip to hold it - when about to get off undo the clip and again just carry it with the fold pull handle.

My life is now complete

lexilou · 11/03/2009 13:46

Am coveting the BJCM in a big way but also loving the apples mod. Any opinions either way??

BeehiveBaby · 11/03/2009 13:49

Does sound good Mary Poppins.

BeehiveBaby · 11/03/2009 13:51

I sense that it will be rubbish with the buggyboard though

nicolamumof3 · 11/03/2009 13:51

apples mod i want too lexilou!

this is what i carried home in luna today....

6 pack of 330ml bottles of water
6 pack of fruitshoots
2 indian ready meals
big block of cheese
loaf of bread
rolls

and could have probably squeezed more in...

now i never get it when people say mac baskets are small??? when you push the shopping in the basket right to under the seat i could easily get at least two bag fulls of shopping in my maclarens

i think i need a purchase!

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/03/2009 13:54

Anyone ever leave parcel outside for courier to collect?
I have a courier booked for this afternoon but would also like to get something posted as I told the buyer I would.

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/03/2009 13:58

I don't think I have ever cried as my children went off. Hard as nails I am. But I did cry when I met up with DD1 after she went on holiday with Grandma and DP when she was 3. That was the first time I had been away from her.
PFB

You have a soft heart Nicola, what a lovely mum!

BeehiveBaby · 11/03/2009 14:09

I do at my folks Dunoon (I post my luggage back when I visit LOL). the courier is fine with it but I would never do it outside my house! I use senditnow.
