Try and ignore the holes in the tights.

nappyaddict · 12/03/2009 13:24

carrie and dunnoon are either of you still after a zapp? I know someone sellin a strawberry one with zebra fur liner and brand new raincover. She's looking for £75 ono and arrange your own courier. Parcel 2 go are the cheapest I think at £7.81.

nappyaddict · 12/03/2009 13:28

oh and sweetkitty you were looking for one aswell weren't you?

FlyMeToDunoon · 12/03/2009 13:35

I looked at them and liked the look of the Orient and Iron colourways but don't need one and can't afford one so have put it out of my head!
Thank you for thinking of me though.

nicolamumof3 · 12/03/2009 13:41

oh hows the volo dunoon, glad it came early for you (can't get into pictrail at work)

lillypie · 12/03/2009 13:50

Volo is lovely, did she fall over lol

FlyMeToDunoon · 12/03/2009 14:01

Volo looks so nice. The lime is very limey!
I find the material of the seat, not the mesh but the material, is a little disappointing in quality-plasticky and the slots for straps are basic, can't see them lasting well. Same for the holes where it attaches to frame.
At least the seat fabric does come off to wash. It will need to be because it is pale-ish.
The black frame is fab.
New push thing on back to do brakes-new to me anyway.
Straps not removeable to wash.

Feels very rough and jiggly compared to MB. I am so not used to light buggies anymore.

Love the looks and the lightness to lift up stairs etc.
Love the fact it can fold up and go into my understairs cupboard.
Will be great for holidays.
Will be great for going to do recycling-no punctures.
Will fit through the gate into Calverly Park.

FlyMeToDunoon · 12/03/2009 14:02

Lol she fell over a few times and the tights have gone into the wash and been put on again several times now!

lillypie · 12/03/2009 14:04

lol she is very cute

I think everything compares badly to MB too.

nicolamumof3 · 12/03/2009 14:10

it is what it is isn't tho a volo? light thats it, no frills can't really compare it to an offroad but be fab on off buses sling it over your shoulder. i've got my eye on one too.

can't find anywhere to order my nipper thats in stock and takes paypal so may have to resort to ebay tonight.

FlyMeToDunoon · 12/03/2009 14:12

Isn't there an ebay shop that does them for around £175?

Yeah volo is what it is.
Found myself remembering the triumph I had years back and seemed much more solid.
However volo is fine

nicolamumof3 · 12/03/2009 14:18

dunoon i will be interested in your volo if you don't keep it!

yes thats right but i always worry bout ebay shops what if something goes wrong etc? if it includes the raincover i think i will prob go for it as i've only read good reviews on them. can you remember how much yours was s/hand?

FlyMeToDunoon · 12/03/2009 14:36

I bought mine from someone advertising here, for £100.

nicolamumof3 · 12/03/2009 14:39

cool, not bad resale then, you managed to sell on ok didn't you after? why did you sell it btw??

FlyMeToDunoon · 12/03/2009 14:49

I sold on ebay for £97 so a slight loss.
I decided I wanted someyhing more upright with bumper bar and with more legroom so got jane which filled all of those criteria and went off that!
MB has similar legroom to Nipper imo, is as upright but has softer seat and has bumper bar.
nipper and MB both lie back with straps which are a pita.
Nipper has the drawstring bag on back and not very good optional shopping basket.
MB has big practical basket.
Its swings and roundabouts.
I can post a picture of DD in nipper tonight if you want.

nappyaddict · 12/03/2009 14:57

Does anyone want a sheepskin? Just found one at the back of DS' wardrobe but I've never used it.

nappyaddict · 12/03/2009 14:58

Dunoon which Jane did you have?

nicolamumof3 · 12/03/2009 15:00

yes please dunoon, don't care about lieback as v.v.rarely have to lieback seat. as long as its roomy and comfy. i thought the nipper looked more padded? did yours come with the liner? did you have the extra shopping basket you can buy? like the storage in the hood little features like that appeal to me. luna has no storage only basket no where to put keys, purse, tissues etc!

FlyMeToDunoon · 12/03/2009 15:02

Nappy I might be interested.
I had a slalom in urban.
Yes nipper had a liner and basket, but wasn't good and previous owner had darned it where it had rubbed on front wheel. I thought they looked better in pics now.

FlyMeToDunoon · 12/03/2009 15:04

Pics on picturetrail now.
Off to do school run with volo

Going to get ingredients to make rocky road too.

nappyaddict · 12/03/2009 15:06

Dunoon OK well make me an offer. I haven't even a clue how much it cost I think it must have been a present cos I don't remember buying it!

nicolamumof3 · 12/03/2009 15:17

ooh i've got brand new sheepskin to use i love em! brought it off riding joker (wish she would come back to pushchair thread )

have they changed nipper design then? optional basket doesn't look like it goes near front wheel to me.

look forward to report on volo when you get back!

SparklyGothKat · 12/03/2009 15:44

Ok, after today's news I have decided that to have so much tied up in prams is stupid, its a pushchair FFS I don't need 3. Would there be any interest in a Bugaboo Bee with BN chassis red or blue hood, and a MB swift (used about 3 times) I will keep my Cam

suwoo · 12/03/2009 15:47

Can one of you knowledgeable ladies answer me this please. Ta.
