i wouldn't leave the parcel outside dunoon. hope they come soon. i didn't cry when they went, i just don't feel well atm so will enjoy the rest and the house is a pigsty so can have a thorough clean.

just listed my luna mix. think nipper and maclaren are way to go!!

buggylovinmummy · 11/03/2009 14:14

Just been looking at buggies in town, thinking of getting the maclaren quest sport in red and black, it was so light to push with ds in it compared to the xt.

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/03/2009 14:15

I have booked with parcel2go and it is a DHL pickup.
I did it once with parcelforce as I had to go and get my eldest daughter from school, she was ill. I met the driver as I walked to school, explained and he wasn't very pleased.
If past experience is anything to go by the courier will not get here until at least 4.30 but of course should I leave the building he will no doubt arrive.
Dilema

buggylovinmummy · 11/03/2009 14:17

nicola i thought you were keeping the luna as you wanted a straight handlebar!!

Only today you said it was lovely to only have 1 pushchair

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/03/2009 14:18

Parcel to post has also suddenly got heavier and It will cost me. How does that happen? It is too big for the little post office down the road to weigh on their tiny weighing scale.

BeehiveBaby · 11/03/2009 14:19

Can I ask which Maclaren are you getting to go with the Nipper Nicola?

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/03/2009 14:24

Do ou think I can get away with posting Volo accessory pack in a postage bag? That might get the weight down enough.

nicolamumof3 · 11/03/2009 14:25

lol Buggylovinmummy i know! but it will be luna out and nipper in!

i still need one handle bar hence the nipper and its total lightness appeals to me 7kg!!!

i will get a quest mod, the apples one i think, i love the quest. that the grey xt best maclarne pushchairs imo.

dunoon what you sending? i sent a huge parcel this morning? was my maclaren xlr covers in tan/crimson. it just fitted on scales at p.o tho?

nicolamumof3 · 11/03/2009 14:26

if you double wrap it should be fine? i've just sent my maclaren covers incl. hood in a v.thick parcel bag. as it came to me and was ok.

buggylovinmummy · 11/03/2009 14:27

Ive just looked on mothercare website and the quest sport black and red that i like is in the sale at £120 plus omeone gave a code on here yesterday for 10 % off so it will be £112 delivered. Once dis has paid me for the xt im going to order it

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/03/2009 14:29

Will unwrap and try that.
It was posted to me in a carrier bag and brown paper and said £3.50 on label but It weighs in at over a kilo on my scale [could be my crappy scale]
Local po have a very small scale and anything over a certain size or a certain shape can't go on.

Disenchanted3 · 11/03/2009 14:29

am selling P&T if anyone wants?

just getting twin techno instead.

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/03/2009 14:30

I can't keep track.

nicolamumof3 · 11/03/2009 14:34
