Have decided to get a new buggy with the money from the xt but now got to decide which one???????

nicolamumof3 · 11/03/2009 07:58

Morning all!

BLM typical eh, been trying to sell XLR for a couple of weeks! Would recommend one for an older toddler for size of seat or maybe a nice three wheeler to as they come up big seated normally and a nice push with the air tyres.

What shall i get now i wonder??

lillypie · 11/03/2009 07:59

I think I have decided to get a quest (zapp hasn't even arrived yet lol)

It's my DD's 2nd birthday today,we are going to a wildlife park and then my son's and mt partners and my DGD (she was 1 yesterday!)are coming over for tea and a lovely cake.

It's going to be a lovely day (if DP ever gets up )

buggylovinmummy · 11/03/2009 08:04

nicola im thinking i may still try and get an xlr maybe e-bay have to have a look. It seems like a good option as ds is a big boy. I like the 3 wheelers but i use the bus a lot so have to fold the buggy down.

Hopi · 11/03/2009 08:09

Morning everyone!

Well I'm off to collect my bargain Zapp later today I hope This is pushchair number 5 and baby isn't even here until June

Still trying to find some cheap adaptors for it so if anybody spots any then please let me know

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/03/2009 08:38

Morning all!
My cowprint liner sold for 2.50 I think it was. Selling liners on ebay is crap!
Love that feeling of waiting for a new pushchair though.

nicolamumof3 · 11/03/2009 08:39

yes if you do a wanted post prammymammy was selling some for a fiver i think hopi??

BLM, XLR is a good choice, shame mine went. what are you left with once XT goes? im tempted to order an XT but know i won't be able to push with one hand. still dithering over ordering my nipper today!

BexieID · 11/03/2009 08:50

I wanted to try a Nipper. Was going to get one just before I got the MB.

nicolamumof3 · 11/03/2009 08:54

going to use the luna a while longer and see if i still really miss my air tyres, its nice just having one pushchair. i will see how i feel later, but i do think i will be buying it!! you know me, can't resist and those paypal funds burning a whole!!

buggylovinmummy · 11/03/2009 09:01

nicola i have a bruin zen stroller, its nice enough but a bit old now,it will do until i get something else, it sits in the garage and i only use it if dp takes my xt in the car. I sold my other 2 a couple of months ago, i had a 3 wheel hauck for walking the dog but we dont have the dog now and a maclaren quest.

buggylovinmummy · 11/03/2009 09:03

I keep thinking if i get the xlr at least it will last me until ds doesnt need a buggy anymore as its got a big seat. But i said that when i got the xt

BexieID · 11/03/2009 09:05

My MB is annoying me though, I just can't seem to set the front wheel to stay on swivel. DP manages it ok, but then it locks if you brush past something. It's hard to push when it's locked, the tops of my arms are hurting! At this rate i'll be getting another buggy, lol.

carrielou2007 · 11/03/2009 09:11

That's the sort of talk we like Bexie

Happy Birthday to dd Lillypie!!

What a shame you want a quest, we could've swapped zapp for my quest (but another mnetter having it) would love some pics when it gets here and would prob buy it from you if it's not for you??

Nicola you do make me smile and I can't believe you only have one buggy of course you need another one!!

lillypie · 11/03/2009 09:16

Carrie I want a quest as well as the zapp

Disenchanted3 · 11/03/2009 09:19

Morning!
Lol @ pramlovin wanting an XLR now!

DH has just dropped a bombshell .... he loves the MB...

Arghhh why did he have to say that, i was repressing my love for it! lol

Hes just took kids to playgroup with it, its sooo cool.

I must stay strong and sell!!

Disenchanted3 · 11/03/2009 09:25

And he wants me to keep cam ..

Think hes lost it, or just addmitting defeat and joining my madness!

Am adamant they are going though!

nicolamumof3 · 11/03/2009 09:28

lol dis, he's a pramaholic too!!!

cam's gotta go no good for you x

carrielou2007 · 11/03/2009 09:36

My ex p loved my 3 wheeler, it was a bit more 'manly' to push but then he did like my bug and you could flip the handlebar, etc and you know what men are like with gadgets.

Disenchanted3 · 11/03/2009 09:36

I know, I honestly don't want it, but he thinks its the ultimate pink-mobile for his little princess! pmsl!

Disenchanted3 · 11/03/2009 09:37

Nicola, do you know when those new Mac liners are available? and where?

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/03/2009 09:50

Volo and accessory pack have sold on bin!
Thats great because it will go toward paying for the new one.
Contacted buyer-same person for both, and asked if she would like them combined, she has paid for both, but no reply yet. If I book soon I could get the volo off this afternoon I think.
Feel frustrated when people dont reply but I suppose she is doing stuff like we all do.

buggylovinmummy · 11/03/2009 09:51

Hi dis i have e-mailed you about which courier is best to use?

FlyMeToDunoon · 11/03/2009 09:53

Ridingjoker have you started your job yet? How is it going ? Did you ever meet that BM ?

nicolamumof3 · 11/03/2009 09:55

i use www.senditnow.com for higher value stuff as automatically covered to £150 they use parcelforce 48hr for £10.99 and you can get collected in time slots.

or www.p4d.co.uk for cheaper items on dhl48hr and you can book up to 1pm for them most areas.

well done dunoon! yep get it packed off and out today.

dp decided he is off to parents today with kids for w/end so i will beon my own til sunday night, v.v.strange.

buggylovinmummy · 11/03/2009 09:56

senditnow sounds good as a time slot would be handy to fit around the school and nursery runs.
