quick question (again)

today i noticed my buzz is suddenly heavy, difficult to push, vering to one side,

now this was after a long walk over very rough ground, including lots of mud and some wooden steps (which i bumped up and down gently)

i have removed all the wheels and washed them all down and cleaned up the frame,

it is still bad,

the tyres look ok but i am thinking they may need air in them,

any experience???

nicolamumof3 · 10/03/2009 20:34

i don't know not had a buzz before, how old is it?

BriansAmazingBeard · 10/03/2009 20:43

6 months

nicolamumof3 · 10/03/2009 21:02

oh its still under guarantee then you can take it back at least?

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 10/03/2009 21:30

You may need to put more air in one/all of them - if you check on their website they should have recommended pressure.

I find the P&T seems ultra heavy to push when they need a quick pump up so 80% certain it's that for you

Congrats on selling that blsted xlr Nicola!

I'm window shopping for my next Chunkle-munkle for the BJCM (black) - haven't even got my ordered one through in CF34 yet - I need unisex - help me choose! I only need liners/cup holders and pads, poss pillows atm.
What fabric would you choose? I need help narrowing it down, I love them all

claret1980 · 10/03/2009 21:38

Glad you sold the XLR Nicola!

Brian - would pump up your tyres and see how you get on. I just bought a 2008 buzz off a lady from Bounty and found that one of the inner tubes was punctured. Just ordered 2 off ebay and replaced them to be on the safe side.

Would anyone like my Silver Maclaren Comfort pack £9 delivered. Never been opened.

nicolamumof3 · 10/03/2009 21:44

i will leave it for now claret as must not order an xt. will be silly too. still too hard to one hand push for me. the quest will be better. but im going to order nipper 360 for now and get some air tyres back in my life!!!

claret1980 · 10/03/2009 21:50

Hope you get the buggy you want Nicola!

nicolamumof3 · 10/03/2009 21:51

lol i never know what i want. think i should get more use out of luna first and see if i really need air tyres....ooooh i just don't know~!

sweetkitty · 10/03/2009 21:52

nicola - I know what you mean I was an air tyre virgin until I got the P&T and wow so easy to push, think I will struggle going back to non air now?????

claret - forgive me but what is a BJCM and a chunkle munkle?

I want a new pram (stomps feet)

claret1980 · 10/03/2009 21:58

Sweetkitty - it is a Baby Jogger City Mini pushchair. It is a smart looking pushchair at that. I was going to get one at one point but opted for a buzz instead.

Chunkle Munkle is a website (I think) that makes custom covers and footmuff for your pushchair. Same as Snunkie really.

We are going to Legoland in August and I am thinking that I may have to invest in a quest mod for when ds2 is a bit bigger, he will be nearly 10 months then.

nicolamumof3 · 10/03/2009 21:59

quest mod fab. thats what im after, the apples one....!

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/03/2009 21:59

lol at bjcm and chunkle munkle-they are the arcane talk of the pushchair addicts!

Baby jogger city mini
Chunkle Munkle make pushchair liners and bags etc-very lovely!

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/03/2009 22:02

Hmm Nicola I think the luna looks so lovely it would be a shame not to have a time with it in the sun. However I think three wheeler and Maclaren is the way to go in the future- thats what I have! all your needs are covered then.

pebbles79 · 10/03/2009 22:02

Woohoo, just sold the Nomad for £90, all paid for! Someone answered my ad on pre-loved.

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/03/2009 22:03

Whoo hoo things are moving!
Hope it rubs off on me.

claret1980 · 10/03/2009 22:12

Just seen an apples mod on ebay. It was going for quite a lot but you can get them at kiddicare for £127.50. By the time they pay postage they might have well ordered from Kiddicare.

My friend is looking for a little fold up pushchair for her 2.5 year old son for when they go on hols later in year, he will be nearly 3 then. She doesn't want a zapp as they dont recline and I had a Zia and she didn't like that. Any ideas? Would like 3 wheeler, the smaller the better but a decent sized seat though.

nappyaddict · 10/03/2009 22:16

On the chariots website who specialise in 3 wheelers they recommend you only inflate them to 10-15lbs even though some companies recommend 20 or even 30lbs, as the softness of the tyre is part of the pushchair 'suspension' giving a soft ride.

Hopi · 10/03/2009 22:17

Woo-hoo! Just won a Zapp on ebay for £50 and it is immaculate! Going to pick it up later in the week

Does anyone know where I can get the car seat adaptors for the Maxi Cosi seat from? Cheap please

I've had 2 sales fall through today on another forum. Only for footmuffs but is really annoying as I needed the funds for other things

nappyaddict · 10/03/2009 22:18

claret if she's not fussed about air tyres then the luna mix or the cosatto venture are good. If she does want air tyres you can't go wrong with a MB or Nipper 360.

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/03/2009 22:24

Claret what about the bjcm or one of them

claret1980 · 10/03/2009 22:28

The venture looks good, bit like a BJCM. I don't think she is bothered about air tyres. She looked at a Britax Verve but was unsure.

FlyMeToDunoon · 10/03/2009 22:30

Right must go to bed
Night all.

claret1980 · 10/03/2009 22:35

night!

buggylovinmummy · 11/03/2009 07:38

Hi nicola, i see youve sold your xlr now, thats good news, i was thinking last night as dis is buying my xt maybe i would have your xlr instead of keeping the cash but now its gone, serves me right for being so indecisive
