ridingjoker · 01/03/2009 19:45

nicolamumof3 · 01/03/2009 20:44

like this

BriansAmazingBeard · 01/03/2009 21:38

me again

any difference in the xt and the xlr

nicolamumof3 · 01/03/2009 21:45

yes the xlr is bigger, it has the advantage of a huge seat, and footboot and seat liners inc. but it is a long fold you would struggle in boot i would think?

im selling my xlr tho if you do find it fits!! they are really nice

BriansAmazingBeard · 01/03/2009 21:52

do you think so?

would it fit lay accross the floor in the back seat?

we have a big estate family car for the most time,

my car is dinky

so long as it fits in i am not bothered about any more room for stuff,

what colour is yours?

FlyMeToDunoon · 01/03/2009 21:54

MB covers are gorgeous Nicola.

nicolamumof3 · 01/03/2009 22:03

mine is choc blue, and then im also selling an extra set of tan covers (tan/crimson) which are nice they have only been used once!

i would think it would lay across back footwell no probs. will measure it for you now!

BriansAmazingBeard · 01/03/2009 22:10

i have seen one i like on e bay,

what sort of money are you thinking for yours?

nicolamumof3 · 01/03/2009 22:13

well its only been used a couple of weeks was wanting £160 plus post or £200 all in with the new covers!

They are lovely but i am wanting a mb so selling off my 'collection'!

BriansAmazingBeard · 01/03/2009 22:17

thanks,

i will ask dp,

the tan are lovely but not so sure about the blue (dd)

nicolamumof3 · 01/03/2009 22:19

the tan are v.nice and unusual i must say. its only a blue liner? you can reverse it to brown? both the liners are reversible as well.

BriansAmazingBeard · 01/03/2009 22:32

the tan ones look really nice on the pics

nicolamumof3 · 01/03/2009 22:35

yes they are now discontinued you can't get xlr in tan anymore in uk. so nice and unusual i've only had them on the pushchair once so really as new. all the fabrics as new really.

as soon as i start selling my pushchairs i start wanting to keep them lol!

BexieID · 01/03/2009 22:49

The MB 50's is really nice. I've told the lady on the other board i'd like the faded covers MB but can't afford it for 3 weeks. Am hoping she'll keep it for me. If not, i'll be touring pram shops for a suitable basket from another pram to fit MB.

I only just realised the Skate has no basket. I take it that is where the name cames from! Still keep thinking how good it would be to have the Skate, carrycot & stand for the next baby! Then I feel bad because I never had a carrycot for Tom and have a perfectly usable Graco in the shed!

BexieID · 01/03/2009 22:52

Oh, and DP did take Tom to the park. He claimed it wasn't raining but changed Tom when they got back.

nicolamumof3 · 02/03/2009 07:05

lol Bexie as long as they had a good time! the skates basket is that mesh bit i think it stretches. i think they are lovely for a new baby, but didn't already have shortlisted the toro !!!

ridingjoker · 02/03/2009 08:07

like the cpvers nicola.

bearded...i had xlr with a 207. it was too big for footwell. and wrecked my boot trying to squeeze it in. had to sell it in the end to save wrecking my car.

MrsMagooo · 02/03/2009 08:19

Bexie - the basket on the Skate is odd looking but holds masses! It is a sprung sort of base with bungee type cords on it, I can absolutely loads in it. Lucy has made me a fantastic bag for it.

I absolutely love the Skate & is by far my favourite of the ones I've had.

nicolamumof3 · 02/03/2009 10:48

not getting 50's now, she decided to keep so v. just got to decide what to get now?

moss mb??
or a cheaper three wheeler and a luna mix?

FlyMeToDunoon · 02/03/2009 11:00

Shame about your MB Nicola.
