If you are interested will get the photo's sorted later

So how is everyone?

Disenchanted3 · 03/03/2009 11:30

Morning girls,

am impatiently waiting for courier

DH is out this afternoon so it will be the first time I have all 3 kids by myself

At least with double and when cam arrives i'll have a buggy to restrain each of them in

nicolamumof3 · 03/03/2009 12:21

i've had a whole week now with no double. but first day on my own without a double. tate cried home from nursery as i wouldn't carry him

pebbles79 · 03/03/2009 12:26

Have you tried a buggyboard?

nicolamumof3 · 03/03/2009 12:28

i got a cheapy one but can't fit it to xlr, can't get the fittings in the right place break release spring seems to be in way so i gave up.

i don't think he would even stand on board after nursery. but im going to try buggyboard and whatever pram i get next (luna mix or mb)

pebbles79 · 03/03/2009 12:33

I've got the buggyboard maxi and it's great! It's actually the second one I've had because Liam wouldn't go on it at first and I sold it. Once he realised there was no double anymore, and had been out walking alot and asking to get up and being told no I thought it was time to buy another as he might be more inclined to use it and he was! It's been a godsend for the school run.

Disenchanted3 · 03/03/2009 12:36

You want a P&T nicola?

nicolamumof3 · 03/03/2009 12:37

pebbles i did the same, gave away a bn buggyboard with a pushchair!

no thanks dis, sold mine last week my doubles days are gone thank goodness!!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/03/2009 13:03

I think with my XT I had to have the buggy board above all of the bits and pieces on the back of the frame. I am trying to visualise it... think it was just under the bit you push down with your foot to fold up pushchair.
I might be getting rid of buggy board since it has been in the cupboard since I sold the XT. The parts you attach to the pushchair are a bit worn.
Its a lascal Maxi

buggylovinmummy · 03/03/2009 13:11

Hi

Wondering if any of you can help??

Ive got a maclaren xt but the straps are really tight on my ds 2.5 when hes got his big winter coat on. Can you get longer ones for it or extendable bits to add on?

Thanks

nicolamumof3 · 03/03/2009 13:14

i tried it on that bit dunnoon but there was a spring on the left hand side right in the way!

i think my xt straps were long enough buggylovinmummy so not really sure? i know my xlr ones are long enought for my 3.2yr old in big puffa coat! and still got some room to extend them.

you can attach your own harness with d rings? im not aware maclaren do harness extensions but might be worth a call?

buggylovinmummy · 03/03/2009 13:19

Thanks nicola, i,ll give them a call and ask. He,ll be fine once the weather warms up its just when hes got a big coat on.

buggylovinmummy · 03/03/2009 13:22

Mind you he,ll probably still be in the buggy next winter as we walk a lot so will need to sort something out

ridingjoker · 03/03/2009 13:25

nicola - i had the original older buggyboard on xlr. i has the connectors on facing forward if that makes any sense. used to hold it up with the harness strap extensions clipped on the d ring that attached to back pocket

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/03/2009 13:25

Oh dear. I do remember there wasn't much space anywhere for the buggy board and when you folded the pushchair it had to push down on the attachments.
You may need to stalk someone who has one attached and see where to put it.

FlyMeToDunoon · 03/03/2009 13:26

Oh yes my attachments were on facing forward- the straps pointed at you.

nicolamumof3 · 03/03/2009 13:29

i might ask dp to have another look riding joker, it would be handy (even tho xlr up for sale!)thanks x

Disenchanted3 · 03/03/2009 13:54

how do you unfold cam???

SparklyGothKat · 03/03/2009 13:59

press the buttons in and pull the lever up at the sides.

Disenchanted3 · 03/03/2009 14:06

umm the swivel wheels appear to be at the back?!

the handle is towards me putting big wheels at the front?!

Disenchanted3 · 03/03/2009 14:07

it wont 'lock' either

Disenchanted3 · 03/03/2009 14:35

Ahhh done it!

Cheers

sal1309 · 03/03/2009 14:39

hi all hope eveyone is well

dis it will only lock once seat unit is on.
if you put the seat unit on and lift the leavers you can chang which side the handle is on iykwim
if you go to bugaboo website instructions are on there

Disenchanted3 · 03/03/2009 14:49
