evening guys

watching tv burp

Who was selling the cow print liner? is it still for sale?

pebbles79 · 07/03/2009 19:46

I can't decide on what I want next, I definitely need more of a stroller type pushchair. I was thinking of getting a Cybex Topaz as they have them in my catalogue and the fabrics looks lovely, but I'm actually regretting selling my Moon Kiss and think I might like another! Only problem with this is that I'd have to make the funds.

My back is so itchy! Got a new tattoo yesterday!

mumofdjandbabies · 07/03/2009 19:47

I remember now it was flymetodunoon is it still avail love?

desp need a liner to got with black, does anyone else have one per chance? xx

claret1980 · 07/03/2009 19:50

I think I'm having a bad day. I can't fold my Buzz down. Tried the grey buttons that you press but the frame won't budge. Its a 2007 version. Have tried looking at online instructions to no avail.
Anyone help me!

FlyMeToDunoon · 07/03/2009 19:57

I have a cow print liner I bought off Madmissy. It is cowprint cotton on one side and pink fleece on the other.
I paid £8 posted for it and thats what I would ask back.
There are two little spots on the cow print side.
here

nicolamumof3 · 07/03/2009 20:02

pebbles don't like the look of the cybex im afraid,

claret hopefully a buzz owner will be along soon its one i've not had so can't help.

my xlr finishes on ebay hope it sells keep fingers crossed!!!

claret1980 · 07/03/2009 20:08

I have managed to do it now. Just have a knack a guess. Having a bad day!

DH went to get the car we had agreed to buy, travelled 3 hours with his mate in the car. Got there and it was a heap of s**t. It hadn't been cleaned and it was missing a headrest, smoking as well, totally not as described. He told the guy that he wouldbn't be buying it! A wasted journey. GGGRRRRR.

pebbles79 · 07/03/2009 20:09

I think the only thing that puts me off the cybex is the white frame. I just want something that's easily folded for getting on and off buses (although don't go on them very often). Just want an excuse for a new pushchair, lol! If only I could sell my Nomad, I hate it when you can't shift something!

carrielou2007 · 07/03/2009 20:11

Claret is it in rear or forward facing mode? You have to take the seat off if you want to fold it when rear facing?

Pebbles a friend of mine had a cybex and I'm sorry to say the fabric was cheap and scratchy and quality overall was not good. Heavy to push yet flimsy at the same time. She ditched it for a maclaren quest. What sort of tatoo?? Still want another one on bottom of my spine somehow with dd name somewhere small on it but I'm getting a bit old now for any more

pebbles79 · 07/03/2009 20:15

Oh dear, that doesn't sound to good then, maybe I'll just give it a miss. The fabrics on the new 09 Moon Kiss look really nice but it's hard to tell as there's no 'real' pictures.

Tattoo is here although the middle star will be more pink once it's healed. Two blue stars for each of my boys and a pink for my little girl

mumofdjandbabies · 07/03/2009 21:01

hi again , would it fit a maxi cosi speedi flyme? xx

FlyMeToDunoon · 07/03/2009 22:12

Probably.
I couldn't say for sure.

dollydimple9 · 07/03/2009 22:20

Hi all,
Need help from anyone who uses p4d please, first time i used a courier to collect parcels id bought, bought a pliko and booked courier for friday and the lady i bought it off was rushed in for emergancy section friday morning at 32 weeks as baby heart rate was low so obviously missed courier and obviouly not her fault but just wondering what will happen now and will i hae to pay extra for missing it?
Second bought a carseat and booked courier with measurements lady stated added extra on weight just in case and just tracked it and its stating over large so am i going to get in trouble for that too ,im never booking one again, eveything goes wrong for me.

FlyMeToDunoon · 07/03/2009 23:29

Hi not sure about the first one but if you contact them and explain they may take pity and let you off paying again.
As to the second some folks have had this comment and nothing has happened.
Good luck.

nicolamumof3 · 08/03/2009 07:42

Morning all!

Dolly i agree with flyme, if you explain what happened they may agree not to charge you for the missed keep up? and again i know others have had this 'over large' and nothing has happened.

lillypie · 08/03/2009 08:23

Morning all I bought a zapp last night

I figure if I don't like it I will sell it to carrielou lol

The thing is my child minder likes 4 wheels and when I sell the pop next week I will need another stroller for her.Sooo Mac experts quest or triumph?

alittlebitshy · 08/03/2009 08:38

Morning -
I said i'd come on and bore you tell you about my buggy history. So ta da. It's nothing impressive, but everyone one in RL is like and so....

Dd was born almost 6 yrs ago: for her we got a Britax Italian collection 3 in 1 thing. T'was fab but it got heavy (i did't know i'd have uber big babies) esp as I chose the fixed wheels. Loved it though.
Then when she was a few months old i got a Mothercare citilite for buses/tubes etc (had seen the graco one but found this). Someone who looked after dd one day forced it when they folded it and that's bent now, grr.
When she was about 15 months i gave into my yearning and got a M and P Pliko which i adored and for a time my buggy envy was cured. I did get a Maclaren Triumph for easy folding etc on tubes/taking on a trip to Nz.....

Ds was born 7 months ago. The britax is a bit knackered (spring fell off so it got a bit bent) but also we lent the carrycot to someone who failed to give it back . So we got a Silvercross Sleepover deluxe, Linear. Am using it rearwards facing atm as ds is a bit of a mummy's boy and is happier if he can see me. Was using the Pliko as my car pushcahir but I got that craving for a Luna and got it a couple of weeks ago.

as I say - nothing impressive but, that's me and my history.

I always hated Bugaboos but am now a bit sad i'll never get to try one. Where is that coming from? Wonder if i'll eventually get a zapp.. for.... for... not sure what for... but beacuse i'll want one. Am sure when ds is bigger i'll be onto my Triumph again. I love it but am not happy putting a little one in it.

carrielou2007 · 08/03/2009 08:45

Oooh alittlebitshy I love those silver cross prams, I would defo get one if I had another baby (which I am defo not!!) I love my silver cross!

Lillypie which one (link link!!) what colour, how long before you hate it and sell it to me??

I have to say I much prefer the quest to the triumph, used mine for the first time last week and have to say I detest it. Much lighter than quest, I don't need a legrest, fabulous fushia pink - but - HATE HATE HATE the stupid clip that reclines it. Even it dd is sat upright due to her weight the seat still has a bit of a recline and she is not keen!

I have to keep it though as being sensible and all that it suits me very well for holidays, slinging in the car etc and will walk it to death in the summer. I would NOT get another one.

carrielou2007 · 08/03/2009 08:47

P.s. I still have a quest (though it is promised to another mumsnetter) so you could always try it and the triumph one sunday when I come to buy your zapp

lillypie · 08/03/2009 09:08

lol carrie it's THIS one

lillypie · 08/03/2009 09:12

I think I get my buggy addiction from my Nan.When my boys were little every time she looked after them they came home with a new pram

carrielou2007 · 08/03/2009 09:17

I was watching that one!! Dd's half brothers and sisters live in Oxford so could always collect it for me. I bet it's the strawberry colour too (we used to argue if it were red/pink etc when I had one)

Still not sure, when I sell the xt (to babyjj in the summer) I'll need more than the volo and the triumph surely??!!

lillypie · 08/03/2009 09:23

Of course you will!!

nicolamumof3 · 08/03/2009 09:39

lillypie thats a good price, well done! i loved my zapp so sad its going tomorrow! sold mine for £80 plus post with travelbag and shopping basket so you did well there. is it a strawberry one? i do love that colour, im quite gutted i've sold mine, but never used it!

just the xlr to go now, it didn't sell on ebay
