lillypie thats a good price, well done! i loved my zapp so sad its going tomorrow! sold mine for £80 plus post with travelbag and shopping basket so you did well there. is it a strawberry one? i do love that colour, im quite gutted i've sold mine, but never used it!

just the xlr to go now, it didn't sell on ebay

lillypie · 08/03/2009 09:44

I can't believe that buggy didn't sell at that price. What do people want

nicolamumof3 · 08/03/2009 09:48

i know lillypie i think its a good price as its only a few weeks old! if you know anyone wanting a maclaren send them my way! cheaper than an 09 quest, with lots of extras. its a lovely buggy i just need a solid handle bar so thats why i've got luna.

sweetkitty · 08/03/2009 09:56

Morning all and a big hello to ALBS, I would be more of a pramaholic but DP kind of curbs me so it's a good thing really.

I have only had 5 prams which in RL people think thats obsessive but I'm on my third child thats not even 2 a baby. I have had a Graco Travel System, M&P Twin Aria, XT, a Graco tandem and a P&T.

Still cannot decide between a Luna or Luna Mix, they are both lovely

Love the strawberry Zapp as well

pebbles79 · 08/03/2009 09:56

It's awful when you're desperately trying to sell something and it just won't go, isn't it?! Especially when you don't want to reduce the price too much and accept far less than it's worth.

At work just now and this is one of the very few sites I can get on which is great, gives me something to read whilst I'm stuck on the phone, lol.

nicolamumof3 · 08/03/2009 09:58

pebbles what do you do? i know what you mean as i can get on here at work too!!

i only want xlr to sell to get enough in paypal to buy a mb!!!

sweetkitty · 08/03/2009 10:01

nicola - do you think I could use a buggyboard with the Luna or Luna Mix, tried to have a search last night but it didn't mention them on the buggyboard sites?

alittlebitshy · 08/03/2009 10:14

Sweetkitty I went for the Luina cos as Mn friend has one and i loved it. I'm not a 3 wheeler person (well, never driven one so can't say for sure... but i'venever been desperate for one iyswim) so I naturally veered for the Luna. Love the seat liners too. I got the Cress one with the liner that matches, but my friend went for the truffle liner in the cress one and that looks lovely.

hmm.... maybe i'll end up getting a quest tthen at some stage . My sole reasoning for the triumph when dd was small was the carry strap s i could sling it on my shoulder when going up stairs at tube stations. Am i right that quests have this too now?

pebbles79 · 08/03/2009 10:24

I work for NHS 24, taking calls for the people needing medical attention out of normal hours.

nicolamumof3 · 08/03/2009 10:29

pebbles i work in call centre too for an ins co.

yep the new quests have the strap on as well now. the volo's are lovely and light tho if its just for occasional use?

i don't think you will get buggyboard on the luna/luna mix tho.
right off out in the sunshine now!

pebbles79 · 08/03/2009 10:34

Sunshine?! It's snowing here, lol!

carrielou2007 · 08/03/2009 10:47

We've had lovely sunshine and very windy here. My first lot of washing I hung out about 6am this morning is almost dry and another load waiting to go out and suprise suprise it has just started spitting with rain - grr!!

pebbles79 · 08/03/2009 10:53

Oh I love getting the washing outside. Even better when you can get your prams washed and dried the same day too!

sweetkitty · 08/03/2009 10:57

at drying washing outside we have had snow, rain, sleet, hailstones and sunshine and it's not even 11am now

Am not feeling too well today think it's mastitis, a new pram would cheer me up though

pebbles79 · 08/03/2009 11:02

Oh no, mastitis is horrible! Have you got flu like symptoms or just a sore breast? Just be careful, the flu like symptoms can creep up on you so quickly - I swear it's the most unwell I've been when I had mastitis and I didn't get it till my 3rd DC!

lillypie · 08/03/2009 11:03

A new pram is as good as rescue remedy

carrielou2007 · 08/03/2009 11:07

It is now absol chucking it down and I'm not getting my hair wet to get it in when have washed and straighted it this morning so it can just stay there.

New pram?? Might have to go to Cribbs today to sniff one out...

lillypie · 08/03/2009 11:23

Here too I just managed to get my wash and MB inside.

sweetkitty · 08/03/2009 11:23

I had the alternating shivers/sweats last night, feeling very rough, boob v sore too.

lillypie · 08/03/2009 11:36

Oh dear sound horrible, have you contacted your midwife for advise on easing it?

pebbles79 · 08/03/2009 11:38

You might need an antibiotic.

sweetkitty · 08/03/2009 11:51

Thanks just keeping an eye on it it's a bit better than it was.

DD3 is almost 8 months so more HV then MW IYSWIM

nicolamumof3 · 08/03/2009 12:53

oh no mastitis is nasty really makes you so run down. hope you're ok sweetkitty.

just took luna out for nice test run and really love it for ease of pushing, no problem doing one handed even up and down kerbs which is fab as tate so often wants to hold hands.

was nice over grass at park. saw a nipper in stone colour really like that now!

oh still completely blue skies here and sunny im afraid!!!! v.windy and cold tho but my washing nearly dry! took boys for treat to mc.d's on way back from park so luka now having nap tate a dvd. sorted!

carrielou2007 · 08/03/2009 12:59

I braved the rain to bring in my washing - had to put it back in the machine on spin to wring it out!!

Brief lull, bit of sunshine, now still grey but not raining. Going to take dd out in triumph for a sleep and to give it one more chance. If I still hate it sod it will ebay it and get something else. I can't stop thinking about my dazzle but know I hate the raincover so must be something else but what...

nicolamumof3 · 08/03/2009 13:26

my lovely xlr lol! it needs a lovely home carrielou!

maybe you need a nice walking pushchair as you've had/have a few macs? what do you have now carrielou?

im still eyeing up 3 wheelers. looking at the nipper, so light!
