carrielou decisions decisions!
I got the accessory pack for the volo this morning and it looks very smart.Black hood and liner and a raincover. Still light and very portable. The volo is red so bits of red show along the sides-very nice.

nicolamumof3 · 07/03/2009 10:35

yep yesterday on school run with tate in who's 3.2yr was lovely so easy to push.

nappyaddict · 07/03/2009 10:40

Do you think the original Luna is lighter to push?

carrielou2007 · 07/03/2009 10:56

Nappy how is your ds now, is he recovered or will it take a bit more time??

Think will stick to my three, I still hanker after a 3 wheeler for running in the summer.

No longer having my nail lady do my nails, just go a text from her. Think she is being a bit OTT though am a bit relieved. We've had a few ding dongs of late and this was the icing on the cake really. Anyone who can't see someone else's point of view even if it's not the same as there own is a bit odd I think.

nappyaddict · 07/03/2009 10:57

He's as recovered as he's going to get in the short term but could take up to 18 months to fully recover iyswim.

nicolamumof3 · 07/03/2009 11:02

nappy yes i'd say feels as good to push if not better i like the three wheels. it looks gorgeous with the liner as well!

nappyaddict · 07/03/2009 11:07

How much was it in factory shop?

OK from lightest to push at the top to heaviest at the bottom put these in order for me:

Maclaren XLR
Luna
Luna Mix
Silvercross Dazzle
Obaby

nicolamumof3 · 07/03/2009 11:11

luna/luna mix
didn't take dazzle out!!!
obaby
maclaren xlr

£75 for pushchair which was ex-display/refurbished but fine for me only v.minimal wear to wheels and tiny nick in handle fabrics as new.

then you buy whatever hood you like i got it with green and the tree liner, and i've just bought a yellow hood off ebay as well!

nappyaddict · 07/03/2009 11:19

I would love a Luna Mix but can't get one until the Easter holidays cos will need to get my Dad to take me up to Stoke. I also keep thinking it's madness to buy 2 brand new pushchairs for a 2.9 year old and I do already have a Luna.

Tried the Obaby in Mothercare and I really liked it. I need to take a bed guard back so would have £23 towards it already. Does the OBaby lie as flat as the XLR though?

Has anyone had a Cosatto Diablo?

nicolamumof3 · 07/03/2009 11:21

if you've got a luna and he's coming up to three i wouldn't bother with a mix tbh. the obaby is fab, yes i'd say it lays back just as far as xlr, its just such a nice wide seat on the xlr i'd say it would fit most children up to they go to school tbh. tate not squashed in it all.

nappyaddict · 07/03/2009 11:24

I saw a nice XT on ebay but I don't think that lies as far back as the Obaby does it?

nicolamumof3 · 07/03/2009 11:29

i don't know my xt went pretty flat? i wouldn't say theres much in it at all. im thinking of buying my obaby back from lady i sold it to!

DivamakesKimchi · 07/03/2009 14:24

MrsM Thank you so much received card yesterday and its fab. Im glad you liked the top.

sweetkitty · 07/03/2009 15:29

Oh no have now looked at the Luna and Luna mix and like them both, do you think they are better than the Petit Star Zia and the Zapp?

I can't make my mind up which one I like the best now

Someone from MN is very interested in the P&T too

nicolamumof3 · 07/03/2009 15:37

yes they are both better than the zapp, don't know about the zia? but has nice shopping basket lovely size seat and bumper bar.

Love the pink Luna and the Orchid Luna mix

This will probably be the last pram I buy so want a nice one lol

alittlebitshy · 07/03/2009 16:14

I'm barging in here (been readong a lot rhough ) - i'll introduce myself and my addiction in a bit (exhausted today - ultra bad ds night); but I wanted to say hi sweetkitty and that i've just bought a Cress Luna as a car pushchair and i love love love it (once i put the wheels on the right way round .

Saw an Obaby one for the first time today in the flesh (as it were). Not bad.

MrsMagooo · 07/03/2009 17:07

Diva so pleased you like it

I'm wearing the top tonight as DH taking me out for a mwal

FlyMeToDunoon · 07/03/2009 18:25

XT is suitable from birth and lies practically flat.

nicolamumof3 · 07/03/2009 18:32

i'd get a mix if you don't mind a three wheeler sweet kitty? only because you don't see so many around? then you can change the hood too!!

lillypie · 07/03/2009 18:37

Evening everyone
Nicola mix is lovely I love the liner
MrsM how are you?

I think I have talked myself into a zapp!I definitely have buggy itch and I have a buyer for the pop.

SparklyGothKat · 07/03/2009 18:42

Dis, lovely to meet you today, your LO is sooo cute.. I couldn't get over the size of the trafford centre, I am sooo tired after walking around it lol.. Hope the MB is ok

FlyMeToDunoon · 07/03/2009 18:42

I looked at the zapp in Mothercare today and was impressed that it felt more solid than it looks. Didn't wheel it around as it was chained up electronically and didn't want to get the staff excited when I only wanted a shufties [look]

nicolamumof3 · 07/03/2009 18:52

i love zapps, sad mines going really! but i do love my mix better for me really as easier one hand push and better shopping basket.
