Its bloody brilliant!! Have just cleaned my stainless steel hob and splashback with it-nothing else but water - started off sceptical-it was filthy from a fry up last night-got rid of every last mark,a quick buff and I have never seen it shine so bright!

This thread has made me pmsl. I'm almost fainting with the pleasure of anticipation of the Lakeland catalogue...

Oh the joy of cleaning materials!

OMG what has happened to me!!! It's only about 8 months ago that I learned what wood polish was!

Hey Moo - d'you want to join my support group for dg windows owners? You know, recognition of the problem is the first step in overcoming it!

marthamoo · 01/04/2005 17:01

I inherited them. Thank the Lord - I am no longer Persona Non Grata. I'm good thanks, Caligula - Jan may be interested though

JoolsToo · 01/04/2005 17:01

I'm going to have to change my name.

marthamoo · 01/04/2005 17:04

There isn't one cod - it's one of those wild n' wacky, typically meandering MN threads.

marthamoo · 01/04/2005 17:04

You forgot born at Withington Hospital, JT.

JoolsToo · 01/04/2005 17:07

OMG! so I did - LOL!!!

how many more twin secrets will emerge over the months???

marthamoo · 01/04/2005 17:08

I'm drop dead gorgeous and men fall at my feet every time I leave the house. How 'bout you?

JoolsToo · 01/04/2005 17:12

natch! need you ask?

and I can do the splits and stand on my head - at the same time

Twiglett · 01/04/2005 17:27

I think I was born at Withington

must ask my mum

Twiglett · 01/04/2005 17:55

So, not only have I killed the thread with that statement but I've stopped Jools and Moo posting with my dull attempt at being in the gang

nobody loves me, everybody hates me

I think I'll go and eat worms
Long thin slimy ones, big fat hairy ones
Watch them wiggle and squirm.....

dropinthe · 01/04/2005 18:01

Caligula · 01/04/2005 18:08

dropinthe, you've changed my life.

A whole new world has opened up to me.

dropinthe · 01/04/2005 18:11

You can be a whole woman for the first time in you life,eh?
I too have thought about balls..........................for the washing machine but also felt said lack of fabric softener meant things couldnt possible be nice washed in one!!

Tetley · 01/04/2005 18:22

Another vote for the washballs (I've added to threads about these in the past too!).

I find them great on the whole, but do use powder for the occasional white wash (Ecover powder though!). Towels are fine done with the ball - if they're line dried they get quite hard, but I usualy just give them 5 minutes in the tumble drier to soften them up.

I've saved a fortune in not buying washing powder too! The balls last for ages.

dropinthe · 01/04/2005 18:24

Wheres my catalogue???

OP posts:
JoolsToo · 01/04/2005 18:54

oooooooh! don't forget your handbag!

marthamoo · 03/04/2005 23:44

Twig, you can still be in the club - I had to go and feed my kids, I wasn't running away in horror at being born in the same place as you. What year btw?

Cod, much as you might go on about it, lakeland is not your topic. Just becuase you impersonated Michelle (rest her soul) doesn't make you Queen of Lakeland. I bet I have more Lakeland things than you...

JoolsToo · 04/04/2005 00:03

my Withington babies are 72/74/76 ........
