Piffleoffagus · 11/05/2004 11:03

I know I was enraged when I saw that per una kidsrange, PISS OFF this is MY place I do not want to be bothered by fine thin fillies when shopping!
Do not worry about the cap sleeves, they are all gone, I bought them ALL and love them, my juggers look normal sized now ;o
With you on all other points Codders

michellefromlakeland · 11/05/2004 11:09

yes and not obviously " ig ot theis form M and s" t shirts

Plainplainplain

Piffleoffagus · 11/05/2004 11:15

bloody dh refused to allow me to buy one with mickey mouse image on it, I don;t mind that I look like Mrs M+S really... only my shoes are M+S free

melsy · 11/05/2004 11:18

Oh you make me scream PMSL coddy !!! I quite like some of that, even though theyve gone off their nut with it. I think theyre trying a bit of the Mango/Zara customer here. Seeing there HUGE SUCCESS over here.

lazyeye · 11/05/2004 11:18

Most of all stop doing that silly gypsy/frilly style for most of the dresses & skirts in Per Una - it looks cheap. (Apols in advance for offence)

And if you are going to charge so much for stuff in Autograph....make it summat special for Gawds sake.

Agree re total kiddies outfits

NomDePlume · 11/05/2004 11:22

I like Per Una...

Piffleoffagus · 11/05/2004 11:24

I love Per Una, hence not wanting lithe young fillies prancing round in size 4 , 6 and 8 versions of it!

NomDePlume · 11/05/2004 11:27

Oh, ok. You'll be pleased to hear that I am neither particularly young nor anywhere near lithe !

Tissy · 11/05/2004 11:29

I want more of those Per Una tops- 3/4 sleeves, frilly trim round neck and cuffs and tiny glass beads to decorate the edging- they can be machine washed and tumbled dry and look smart without being ironed. I only have white and red at present- need more colours so the people at work don't think I wear the same top two days in a row!

P.S. I would also like some pants for my 2 year old. Not briefs, PANTS!

Piffleoffagus · 11/05/2004 11:35

nor I nom I aim to be though hhahahahahaaa

jampot · 11/05/2004 11:49

Agree with all points Coddy - especially about cap sleeves/no sleeves.

Also where have all the tshirts gone with lycra discreetly installed in them - only 100% cotton - my figure is far too voluptous to have only cotton!!

Miriam2 · 11/05/2004 11:53

All their tshirts (she said, generalising, obviously I haven't tried on the whole shop) are too short (ie, reveal midriff) or too long, as in sit on your hips making you look like granny on a cruise.

oliveoil · 11/05/2004 11:59

Ban old biddies at lunch time on escalators - stand on the left grandma, I need my food.

Knickers and bras are still good.

Prefer T-shirts at Gap, they last forever and do not bobble or shrink (have inportant lycra content jampot)

Miriam2 · 11/05/2004 12:01

Oliveoil, have Gap got any good ones this season? I mean for normal people, not twigs?

Jaybee · 11/05/2004 12:04

Is the Beckham range still there? My ds point blank refuses to wear anything with Beckham on it - oh no - no lycra/cotton T shirts anymore - that was the main thing I bought from there.

motherinferior · 11/05/2004 12:08

Put Per Una on line, dammit, for those of us who have to organise a shopping trip with Military Precision.

aloha · 11/05/2004 12:22

I just bought some M&S shoes (sorry PPH). Very nice with big cork wedge. Honest. Make me feel a bit like Liz Hurley (is that a good thing tho?)

scoobysnax · 11/05/2004 12:28

The girls range is too small. Either stick to just school uniform or offer a proper range, and get some decent designers in. There is a choice of 6 dresses only, and all of them are horrible here

scoobysnax · 11/05/2004 12:31

Oops bad link - try this

katierocket · 11/05/2004 12:32

oliveoil - lol re: grandmas

aloha, you can only look lake la Liz if you have unfeasibly large baby as accessory.

agree re: the kids 'complete outfits' coddy, actually most of the toddlers clothes are horrid.

Easy · 11/05/2004 12:35

I have NEVER understood why the whole store range hasn't been available on-line. I thought that was the whole point of on-line shopping, to be able to access all the stock range.

oliveoil · 11/05/2004 13:26

Miriam2 - I am currently modelling the 'favourite T' in Large and it covers my 5 month pregnant bump so I would say it would cover any size of figure.

And who are you calling a twig? Eh? Eh????

Bagpuss30 · 11/05/2004 15:02

Agree totally with you there Codswallop, and would also like to add that I hate hate hate all of the boys clothes. I do not want my son dressed in mickey mouse or goden ballsesque clobber .

Bagpuss30 · 11/05/2004 15:04

Sorry should be golden

Have also just realised that I am wearing a granny on a cruise top from M&S .

lazyeye · 11/05/2004 15:06

Bacon/chicken/advacado salad thing is yum but outrageous at 3.99!! I only buy it cos I'm preggars.

They've got the food right if a bit pricey, but the clothes don't do it for me, apart from the undies. I think its the racks and racks of the same thing. Quite like the shoes this summer tho,I was eyeing up those wedges aloha, and now of course I can't cos you've got 'em, or more likely cos my hubbie would murder me if I bought another pair of shoes...

I sort of really want M&S to get it right.
