I was in Baby Gap today and saw a great bargain - a large canvas baby change bag, three different pattens to choose from,( plain, pretty and stripe) complete with changing mat, down from £48.00 to £6.99. I don't know anyone - in the real world at least - who has just given birth, or would need a baby changing bag, but I thought it was such a good bargaian, I'd tell you about it here. These bags were in the Bluewater branch of Baby Gap, but are probably availablr elsewhere.

Here's a suggestion, news of any other bargains we see could be posted here as and when.

Boots are doing an offer on photo developing - If you use the 1 hour service you get a free CD with the photos on.
The photo CD has software on it to remove red eye, crop the picture, zoom in etc. (Essential for me as I'm not much of a photographer). Just made a lovely card with a decent piccie of ds on it for grandma.

This weekend Boots are giving £5 off any purchase over £20. Today I bought 2 carrypacks of huggies (usually £8.99 each)and 4 packs of boots cloth baby wipes for just over £15 the lot! Also at the moment there are tripple points on the advantage card and that gave me the equiv of over £2 extra!!

HUGE BARGAIN - TODAY ONLY!!!! Dyson DC04, silver & lime, £129 at Sainsburys (normally £199). While stocks last so ring before making a special trip.

rosehip · 05/07/2002 19:39

Argos sale is very good - Barbie dolls from £14.99 to £4.99 - loads of other toys to buy and put away for Christmas/birthdays if you have the money - unlike me who always takes her holidays just B$ the sales then is skint!!

janh · 09/07/2002 20:00

Tesco's Kids multivits+iron. Normally £1.49 for 50 or £2.99 for 150; the 150 pack on BOGOF today (don't know when offer started and Tesco's changeover day is Tuesday/Wednesday) so you effectively get 300 for the price of 100 or 1p per child per day.
(Teddy-shaped, fruit-flavoured, most kids love them.)

manna · 10/07/2002 14:29

I really need a cheap baby sleeping bag - as cheap as poss. as it's only for 2 weeks away. I have a 2 tog one but want a 1 tog one, or similar, for holidays. size 6- 18mths would be good. Grobags are nearly £25 - anyone got any ideas where I can get a cheaper one?

Lilia · 10/07/2002 21:51

HI!

LAst week I say summer sleeping bags in H&M, they were only £10. I bought my DD's from snuggle, that was about £19-20, can't remember now.

:-)

Good luck
