Oh and I had forgotton about Moon Beam! Use it on top of Touche Eclat and bags are banished FOREVER! I was a bit pale and shaky after having DS and the Midwife took some blood and went off to find my discharge papers. She returned 10 mins later (after I had quickly done my make-up to go home) and she said, 'Wow! You suddenly look so much better! You are suddenly looking really perked up!'

hercules · 03/02/2006 21:07

snowleopard · 03/02/2006 21:10

Can't live without - Juicy tubes in 19, lychee - looks bubblegum pink in the tube but is actually very subtle, almost clear. And Dr Hauschka lavender bath, which you can use as a hot facial soak, makes you lok and feel fab.

Tabs · 03/02/2006 21:10

Definitely Bobbi Brown shimmer brick for blusher, and can use as eye make up too - wonderful stuff.

hellomama · 03/02/2006 21:17

Can i just hijack thread and ask - what is Clarins Beauty Flash balm for? It is similar to my much coveted Dr Feelgood balm? (Basically a balm to make your skin look even and fresh on so-called 'no make-up' days, i.e. sundays?)

bagpussmice · 03/02/2006 21:26

would like to know more about beauty flash balm and when to use it too.....
Do you put on before or after moisturiser or instead of?? Is it just a skin pick-me-up or can it be used every day?
sorry - so many Q's

hercules · 03/02/2006 21:27

sad question I know but my clinique blusher is 18 months old and has lots left as I dont use it much. SHould I treat myself to the benefit one?

hellomama · 03/02/2006 21:28

Yeah, because you hear about it ALL the time, but I never know what is actually for! And I do love my products as you can probably tell!

Thomcat · 03/02/2006 21:31

i sampled the benefit brush today and unless someone tells me they can top it I think I'll buy theirs, it's so soft, it's lovely.

Beauty Flash Balm goes on after moisturiser. You can put it on without mioisturising first, but i find it is very drying.

Marina · 03/02/2006 21:34

Beauty Flash Balm goes on over your moisturiser but under your foundation. It really does work! But if you use it day in, day out, it probably doesn't
I like the Boots 7 Intelligent Foundation and Lancome Magnificils mascara. Both work for me (fading coppertop in her early 40s with good skin but piggy eyes)
So I am so not a gorgeous glam brunette ten years younger at least TC

nulnulcat · 03/02/2006 21:37

MAC make up brushes are the best!

hellomama · 03/02/2006 21:39

Ok, so Beauty Flash Balm really does work - but WHAT does it do??? Make you look fresh? Glowing? Younger? Why would you use it, especially if you are also using foundation?

I would definitely recommend Dandelion blush, it is expensive, but it lasts forever and is very natural, but still giving you a lovely glow!

madmarchhare · 03/02/2006 21:40

Concealer

I thought this would be a load of old pants when it was in a box set I bought, but turned out it was the best thing in there and Im off to get some more this weekend.

Marina · 03/02/2006 21:44

It tightens and brightens the skin hellomama, but in a very subtle way. You look like you, but at your very best - ie, perky and rested rather than haggard and fed up

I wish they sold buckets of it for postnatal nork liftage

hellomama · 03/02/2006 21:49

The Flash Balm mystery is solved! Thanks!

There is now a new mystery though - Marina, how did you know that I look haggard and fed up?????

Marina · 03/02/2006 21:50

Show me anyone on here who doesn't hellomama, apart from the all the gorgeous little sleep-stealers on Member Profiles
