The bi women thread that doesn’t get deleted…

There have been several bi women threads on here over time. But they have always got deleted. I thought I would try and start one that doesn’t. Aspiration in the title!

I have done this under my usual username so it’s clear as it can be that I am what I say I am.

This is a thread for any bi woman or any women loving women in any circumstance. So you’ve know all your life and had multiple female (and male?) partners to you’ve only just realised. All are welcome. Maybe you want to act on it, maybe you don’t. Just a general chat and support thread!

My circumstances are that I have probably always known I was bi but put it away in a little ‘that doesn’t matter’ box in my brain. Reader, it did matter. Having got divorced (not related to my sexuality) I have wanted to act on it but I get worried about being inexperienced, body confidence and life getting in the way! I have had sex with women but only twice (2 women, 1 time each). I imagine, for understandable reasons (ex husband, boyfriends, lack of blue hair 😉 …), me being bi wouldn’t cross people’s minds so I am unlikely to just bump into either bi friends or more.

As you can see in this thread, its happened to many of us. Are you in a relationship now?

I am single currently. I am at a stage where I feel comfortable enough telling people online (anonymously) that I think I'm gay. I just don't feel ready to tell people in real-life, particularly those closest to me. I'm not sure if or when I'll be ready, but I'll have to be at some point as I don't want to stay closeted forever.

I've just recently came out on MN, I'm also thinking of posting on the Latebloomers section on Reddit that someone mentioned above. I'm hoping that as it starts to feel more normal and natural to tell people online, it will help me get to the point where I can actually tell people in my personal life.

❤️ Take your time and do what’s right for you. Providing you are comfortable in your own life, l don’t feel there is any rush for someone to worry about labels or let others know. Other than those it matters to of course, such as potential partners.

Since discovering my bi side back in my 30s, l still tend to keep that fairly discreet. Not because l’m embarrassed about it, but it does raise other issues. Some women who consider themselves straight may worry about intentions while men (not that this would happen in your case PP tend to think they’ll get a floor show.

As an aside, we are lucky to have this thread and it is sad to see that some posts needed to be deleted because some people cannot abide by simple rules.

@NJ515 Yes she was and it kind of ruined our friendship. @StarlightLady ive had some awkward m/f ones too, mostly male regret the next morning as they’d thought themselves better. This was more blame so different
