Is oral sex a regular thing in your relationship?

I'm married 17 years and I think DH has gone down on me 3 times in this time. I have giving oral too. I never read much into it until I read some of these posts and now I think we're freaks. Am I massively missing out?

I know some people are a bit apprehensive about how they'll smell, taste or feel down there to their partner, or that they'll take 'too long'. But in my experience the more generous and uninhibited lovers really enjoy doing it, and the taste and texture are part of the pleasure for them. And that's true of both women and men. A bit like @StarlightLady I'd be very reluctant to have a longer term relationship with someone who didn't do it. You can usually tell within a couple of encounters whether someone's keen on it or not. Then it's just a matter of calibrating positions and techniques so that everybody gets the most out of it.

Yep you know within a few sexual encounters if they are keen on oral. My current bf went down on me before we had sex and I was delighted as I’ve had plenty of men who are happy to receive only. I always have a shower before I see my bf but don’t think he cares. He’s happy to go down again after we have had sex whereas I know other bf’s in the past would do it before hand only. Always happy to kiss straight after too, whether he’s been down on me or I’ve given him a BJ. God I’m loving having oral back in my life. Haha
