Has anyone else applied for Brit ks4 for 2026?

I got the same message at the top of the page. I hope I did all right. I am always anxious when completing these forms.
For example the very question with yes or not I don’t even remember what it said 🤦‍♀️

Actually now that I think, in the form I didn’t see a field where to put phone numbers and emergency numbers. Did I miss something?

They pulled through from the original application. It was definitely there in the 2nd section… I just added a grandparent as an extra contact.

are we thinking Friday for KS4 MT then? Going slightly crazy here

Sorry, I think I missed something 😬 Why do we think is Friday? Last year they were told throughout the week. Has the school confirm they are issuing their decisions this coming Friday? Thanks!

No confirmation that I've heard of. I've just looked back and realised everyone seems to have heard on a Friday this year for p16 so assuming it is after someone else said above

Right, thanks. A parent did mentioned that she called the school on Monday and told her that they will provide decisions on Friday because "they want the students to be better supported and so they also have the weekend to take on the news".
At this point Im not sure if the waiting is in fact doing more harm than having to deal with 'no good news' during the week.

Still waiting for Year 10 Theatre strand, agonising!! So are we saying that we could get an email at 5pm on Friday, ahhhhhhhh :)😜😫

Has anyone heard anything about Digital Art post 16?

I don’t work at the Brit but I do know lots of places like this have a policy of sending out offers/rejections right at the end of a Friday, not only because it’s supportive for the students, but because they want to avoid a gazillion phone calls during the week/or the next day as it’s terribly disruptive to the daily business of the college (we’re waiting with baited breath for the music strand to be released)

I wondered if a parent who has put their child through the POST 16 course at The Brit School could let me know how the time table looks roughly?

As in are they expected to be there every day full time from 8.45am to end of day even if the course is 15hr then coursework. I am specifically talking about VAD or Digital? Thank you just preparing my child for their new travel timetable.

Some colleges offer UAL Level 3 and you go home and complete coursework when they are not teaching ect.

It sounds like Brit School will encourage kids to do their coursework on site, as other colleges do not have the space to accomodate this.

Just be helpful to guage how it works and how flexible it is, appreciate that different strands will have different timetables.

I appriciate this will all be discussed at the induction day. 🙂

I believe they only have to be in while being taught, although many will stay on site and use the library etc to get work completed. Especially if they’re working on group projects and have rehearsal time. How much taught time they have will depend on what if any pathways they are doing (additional A/As Levels or resit GCSEs).

There is typically 1 day a week when they are not in at all - for DCs strand (and possibly all of them) it’s Thursday's at the moment, which is when the post 14 year groups have their biggest chunk of strand time, but could change.

Hi, there is a question on the enrolment form that says 'health form complete?' and I don't think I saw a separate medical form. Does this relate to the few questions about allergies etc that are on the same page does anyone know?!

I had a stressful day chasing the reference! Was lead to believe it had been completed but unfortunately our referee had not submitted it correctly.
It's finally been submitted and the admissions team have said the next batch of offers will be sent tomorrow at 5pm!

Those waiting for Theatre Strand - how do they feel their kids interview went? Mine rushed through hers a bit... does anyone know how many kids they invited to the workshop? I was guessing 200. Trying to work out my daughters odds. I also cannot find their criteria for acceptance anywhere online. No scoring criteria or anything. Guess we dont have to wait too much longer.

When I called on Monday, they said they’ll be advising KS4 theatre strand outcomes today. This week has been so slow!

I wonder if they will do the music strand today too then - they said we would hear back within 4 weeks and she had her audition on 27th Feb so should be soon
