Trinity/Whitgift/Dulwich College 10+/11+ 2021

Hello,

as mentioned countless times, I found the previous years' threads very useful, so it is now time to start this year's.

DS sat the 11+ reasoning test at DC yesterday. He'll sit the morning slot at trinity and we are awaiting confirmation of assessment date from Whitgift.

DS is remarkably relaxed so far. I, on the other hand, am a little apprehensive about the next few weeks.

How are everyone else's DSs feeling before "the storm"?

What a day we got a no from T but thankfully a yes from W.
This is very stressful and I know how it feels on both sides.

It's such a horrible time. We got a no from T and a yes from W. Really stressful. I absolutely hate the way this is done! The numbers shortlisted is still so high and there is still another hurdle.

Still waiting for pre-test emails. I don’t know how those with just 2-3 applications cope. We have other interviews so much less stressful!

Crossing everything for those of you still waiting, off topic apologies is anyone familiar with how RR inform about outcome of exams? Do we not find out until the 10th of February? I can't seem to find much information about this

Got the good news for T 11+, but still waiting for W. Has anyone actually got an “regret email” yet? If anyone heard something please share here, Thank you!

Afternoon All, we've just received an email from Trinity 10+

We’ve got a yes from Trinity 10+ just about now! Still need to get more details on the next steps… but glad this came through!

Does anyone know how DC let you know about an academic scholarship? Do they mention it on the email or in the interview?

From my undertstandng they call you back for an academic interview based on the results from the written exams AND the interview. Differnt from W and T where hey invited for academic interviews directly after the written exams

@Saragood I have no personal experience of interview.But friends whose kids attended interviews last year were asked favourite subject(why?) ,aspirations and why they want to join the school
