DS found chemistry tough, he fell asleep at 3.30 and hasn't resurfaced yet. Good luck to all DC tomorrow.

Interesting to hear that German was brutal - DD's rather obscure second MFL was apparently vile as well, though french way back at the start of all of this was OK.

Day off tomorrow.

1 Monday.
(DS has 2 A-levels, one tomorrow, one Friday)

I think ds1 has decided his revision class after school was enough for today :)

Sat here taking advantage of empty house and glass of wine! Just wondering how schools select which exam board to follow!
Her school ditched edexcel German for Cambridge because it was a gentler exam! Same for English lit and language. Majority are edexcel but History is a welsh board so we have 3 lots of results day. Are other schools similar??

Prom, hm, still no dress...

We've got two dresses but no ticket!

Not a good day here. Chemistry seemed to be fine until he over analysed it but German was hard and he said he looked up and found some of his classmates in tears. Perhaps it's just tiredness.

Revising now for geography tomorrow then a quick turnaround for physics on Friday then party time I think if the rain ever stops.

Ds has written thank you notes to his favourite teachers and he got all emotional bless him.

We have a prom shoe emergency here, ds has had suit and shoes sorted for weeks, very expensive shoes from John Lewis that I got at a bargain price, he asked his dad to give them a polish which he did today with a clear polish and they’ve ruined the shoes! He’s devastated and I can’t find the shoes anymore 😢

DD thought AQA chemistry was ok. Not great but not awful. Took her for a swim afterwards just to have a break from it all.

Two days, one exam and we can relax. Next week prom preparations start. Just hoping she doesn't dye herself too orange!!

I've been let in on the fact that DS's prom outfit will be centring on his bright blue DM boots (I'm not surprised) and frankly I think they are indestructible.

This year’s mark schemes are currently private documents and remain so until after results are released. As such they should only currently be accessed by those marking the papers, they certainly won’t have been issued to schools at this stage.

Thefrendo it is awful basicly . A level maths with none of tje spec in it .
FM pupils struggled :(
