kings college school vs Wilson ( or Tiffin)

Dear Mums,

                  My DS has been offered a place at Wilson school (Top Grammar school) and Kings college school ( Wimbledon-  Top independent school). Travel time to both school is same; feedback from close family friends is both school academically are same. I am aware both schools are excellent. However, there is 50:50 divide. DS not bothered. 

So not sure. I am sure other mums have had same dilemma before.

@Daisychaisy Wilsons Gtammar School originated in the Camberwell area in the 17th century. At some point, it closed, but eventually reopened in the 19th century (in Wilson's Rd i think? Just along from Camberwell Grove, off Peckham Rd). Which is where it remained until 1975, when the school moved out to Croydon. (Like e.g. St Clement Danes and Dame Alice Owen's started off in the Aldwych / Islington respectively, but which also moved out to new greener and leafier sites in the 20th century).

I lived and or worked in Camberwell on and off for over a decade from the late 1970s - late '80s, living elsewhere in SE London for a while longer and still feel a certain nostalgia for the place when i go back, but I suspect that not everyone feels that way about downtown SE5.

I have never read anything so bonkers. The level of obsession and detail shown here is incredible.
