What are the killer questions? What have you found has got the information you want from your 5 minute slot.

Teachers- what questions make your hearts sink? Be honest- the chances of any of your parents being in here is vanishingly small! Grin

I was thinking along the lines of "In your opinion, is he working to the limit of his ability?"

We haven't been told if DS should come to Yr 7 open night. I thought it was expected. It was when I went to school many moons ago :)

Parents evening for my twin DD's tonight. Students are not allowed.

I am glad on a practical level as I don't really know how we would do it with both of them. Unsure on a personal level whether it would be better to have them there.

I am going to take a notebook to write what the teachers say as I will never remember who said what about which DD!!

I loved the suggested response but there is a certain level of ability of the parent's that would worry me. Should a parent have to be that articulate when they have regularly filled in the homework planner. Some parents or carers may not be able to be that sensitive. Should the school hierarchy not be monitoring their pupils and their work books, Where is the monitoring of or by the subject co-ordintor. This addresses one pupil and for a parent that is paramount but I am concerned for all the other pupils in this school.
