Hows everyone's kids getting on with their exams / studying?

DDs first Higher exam is D&M I think. She's been busy working on past papers but feels fairly confident. She is least confident about Chemistry.

It will only affect ds3 for his Advanced Higher music but if it’s eventually rolled out to cover all subjects it might be useful when deciding whether or not to appeal or ascertain gaps in knowledge or teaching.

Anyone’s child doing Sociology Higher today? My daughter seems to have subjects few take - Sociology and Philosophy, as well as Economics, English and Geography. I am wondering if few schools offer Sociology and Philosophy? I believe it is the first year for both in my daughter’s school. Her opinion is Sociology is easy but Philosophy is her toughest subject overall.

@Hapagirl48 How did yours find Art & Design? Mine said not good, lots struggled to finish. She's off out for end of exams party on the beach this evening, celebrating it all being over.

Last exam done for Dd, art and design Nat 5.

Pretty usual response of ‘it was ok’ from her.
10 weeks to wait now for the results.

Mine did not find higher art easy I don't think. Just glad to be finished tho.
Anyone doing economics today? Our school doesn't offer it's

My daughter did Higher Economics this morning and thought it was a fair and straightforward paper. She was actually meant to be doing Art but swapped it for Economics in August as she thought it was less easy to predict how well you are doing or what grade you are on track for with Art.

@cushionfiend She said it went okay A and D is not her favourite so she was was quite worried. It was nat 5.
