I think it's because @SquidwardBound that the police don't divulge the names of people arrested. But saying "a 52 year old woman arrested in connection with the ongoing SNP fraud case" leaves no doubt as to who has been lifted.

Technicality…if you’re arrested you’re in police custody, when you’re interviewed you’re in custody

She’ll likely be released without charge at this time, but that doesn’t mean it’s over (no I don’t have inside knowledge, but work within the legal system)

Almost certainly. But she doesn’t get to make the decision about when she leaves. They have to release her from police custody.

She’ll presumably have spent the day in an interview room drinking badly made cups of tea.
