This is not progressive - it is going back in time, a time when men ordered us around and told us what we need, what we should or shouldn’t be feeling. Id be inclined to think its a clear sign that that the intention was not to help re issues of period poverty etc. The intention was simply to virtue signal , be " progressive " .

Given the amount of organisations already set up and the public already donating products to said organisations specifically for schools and work places , there was surely nothing this job entailed that wasn't already being done just without rhe official position.

Yes, I am happy that women pushed back, followed the shady way the job was advertised, the dubious way someone was given a post they were not suitable for and that fact that women won’t roll over & let their privacy & dignity walked over. HTH

Interesting that there has been no admission that they have made a mistake. The reason is abuse / threats. I suspect that's exaggerated but even if it were true, I doubt that's the real reason for the role being scrapped, they just don't want to admit they were wrong!
