@WouldBeGood

I think an inclusive Scotsnet outing would be good- I’d llove to chat with everyone and see if you look like what I think 😂
If it's inclusive, we might need a referee...Grin
ElephantOfRisk · 01/08/2021 15:48

I'd be happy for you to find me on FB @WouldBeGood and you could gaze upon my gorgeousness at your leisure....

forfucksakenett · 01/08/2021 16:11

Do posters generally have a picture of other posters in their head? I do actually and have always wondered if others do too!

ElephantOfRisk · 01/08/2021 16:14

I mostly do, recently discovered that DS1 has no mind's eye so never pictures anything in his head - i find that quite a bizarre concept.

WouldBeGood · 01/08/2021 16:47

I do! Looking forward to the gorgeousness @ElephantOfRisk

That is weird about no pictures in head: my ex was like this. I’m the opposite

@WouldBeGood

Both sit in and take out *@PoloMintPatty*. I’ve been informed of it’s desirability by young folks 😃
Thank you!
Lockdownbear · 01/08/2021 18:07

I never think to picture posters in my head, unless prompted. So now that I've been prompted, really sorry hope I don't offend :-Everyone is white, 40s / 50s, with average podge except Runningpink who is very fit and wears black & pink leggings. Grin

latissimusdorsi · 01/08/2021 18:11

I do!
Agree with @Lockdownbear 's description (some in 30s though) but weirdly also have most of you wearing glassesGrin

latissimusdorsi · 01/08/2021 18:18

If the term Runningpink was applied to me would be because I'm a big, hot sweaty mess if I run anywhere!

WouldBeGood · 01/08/2021 18:28

😂😂spot on @Lockdownbear

No glasses, but contacts ..

This is what DS has:

What we could do is name a celebrity that we most look like to give a clue but not our actual selves?

Shite. I'm feeling Seen.

I just assume your nickname is basically a summary of how you look. unless it's Latin. Then I don't have a clue other than picturing latissimus with a huuuuuge takeaway coffee cup on your back

So lockdownbear is a battered, tired looking teddy, wouldbegood is an angelic toddler with blonde pigtails, elephant is an elephant standing on a ball and various other wobbly things to reach a high shelf. And so on.

Blush

(I think I may have shared too much of my psyche there)

ElephantOfRisk · 01/08/2021 18:53

haha love it @ResilienceWanker

In terms of celebrity, i've been told (in my younger days) that I looked like Lesley Vickerage from Soldier Soldier etc, probably a plumper greyer version nowadays.

forfucksakenett · 01/08/2021 18:55

She's gorgeous! Lucky you. I don't think I've ever been compared to a celebrity now that I think of it.

ElephantOfRisk · 01/08/2021 18:56

but not quite elephant proportions. The user name is a reference to a job i used to do which involved training financial advisers and one poor person while practicing before their official sign off kept getting "element of risk" muddled and was saying elephant of risk. Just tickled me a bit at the time and i've never forgotten it.

ElephantOfRisk · 01/08/2021 18:58

Nah, i'm not gorgeous honestly, but I don't frighten kids...

Also was compared to Magenta Devine for a bit but i think that was more the haircut and colour

shouldistop · 01/08/2021 19:01

I've got a terrible visual memory, I don't think I have a 'minds eye' so I don't visualise people at all.

I'm in my 30s, I do wear glasses, average podge is a good description of my figure Grin

ElephantOfRisk · 01/08/2021 19:04

I've lost over 20lbs since lockdown. Sure it's gone up and down over the piece, but not being able to swallow since I was so stressed possibly helped. I'm just a couple of pounds above the top end of normal BMI.

ElephantOfRisk · 01/08/2021 19:06

Average podge is a nice way to put it - i like that.

shouldistop · 01/08/2021 19:08

That's a really good weight loss! I've lost 4lbs since I started weaning baby ds onto solids. It's weird I thought I'd be burning less calories as he takes less milk.

ElephantOfRisk · 01/08/2021 19:14

it's only about a pound a month but I think that is probably more sustainable.

Maybe your appetite has dropped now that baby is weaning? I remember watching the pounds drop off when I was breastfeeding, Baby was getting like the michelin man and I was looking more like a human every day.

I used to get told I looked like Sarah Platt character from corrie in her young days I never saw it myself did get asked for a autograph once in a train station 😂

No glasses here, bit more podge then usual after no exercise in the last 4 months but just managing to keep my BMI in the healthy range. Although it's a bit more generous weight wise after I increased in height after pregnancy which I didn't know was possible (knew about feet growth!) so now above average height.

ElephantOfRisk · 01/08/2021 19:20

OOh very nice ski. I didn't know you could get taller either, always assumed you could get smaller as your foot arches dropped.

Scottishskifun · 01/08/2021 19:24

Yeah I thought I had been measured wrong at the Dr's so got DH to repeat (even laying down and standing) he got the same as the Dr's each time only thing I can attribute it to is pregnancy as I don't think early/mid 30s grow taller randomly could be wrong though!
