I saw the comments on Twitter for the 'pregnant people' advert and did chuckle to myself. I have to confess that I was secretly glad so many people are pushing back against this. As are official bodies apparently - the RCOG and PHE pages on vaccination in pregnancy refer to 'women' repeatedly. The SG will have to educate them on the 'new biology' as they are obviously not intelligent enough to know about it 😂

I once replied to a tweet from a cancer charity which said similar about smear tests.

A load of TRAs started tweeting me, then found out where I worked, and kept tweeting my work trying to get me sacked.

Only I was the Social Media Manager so I just deleted every tweet

Bet there would have been no raised eyebrows if they had just said "the vaccine has been administered to over 55,000 during pregnancy."

Offends me equally whether women get redefined as awkward squd baby carriers or erased altogether from the equation. The chosen phrasing smacks of both.

There are @titsintiers - so angry about something so ridiculous. Sex is immutable biological fact, and no amount of Twitter tantrumming is going to change that. Deep down they know it, and that's why they can't rationally debate it, and instead try to stop people discussing it. The more daylight, the more idiotic they look.
