Waving from somewhere geographically below Berwick. Not a single Police Scotland car in sight anywhere on journey to Manchester. Very welcome in Manchester for coffee in indie business and supporting a particular area, before moving on to somewhere else. Massive difference here- asked to check in with NHS app, but no fecks given as to whether we actually do or not. In big chain today to get a table (essentially to use the toilet for DC) I genuinely forgot to put mask on, ordered at counter and upstairs to be seated before I remembered. Had a pang of guilt before I realised nobody had asked me at till. DC not wearing mask anywhere (under 12) thank goodness. Happy holidays🙌🏻

I was in N. England last week and it was a matter of waving your phone in front of the thing.

Is it a weekend night? Seems a bit more formal at weekends . My last Saturday night visits I wore a Coast mock 2 layer lace dress and (2 stone lighter) a Diva Carla pencil dress.

I was in Edinburgh last week (fairly formal restaurant)and the vibe felt (gloriously) end of prohibition chic. I wore a pleated maxi, biker jacket and wedge sandals . A very flattering patterned version of this.

We had a great day- it was so peopley. I have had 2 negative LFTs and DH a negative PCR since. So we are rocking our freedom and not impacting on positivity .

I totally appreciate that feeling Wouldbe as I am the biggest I have ever been. The dress you linked to is gorgeous (where is it from?)! And looks like it could be dressed up or down to suit. Fortunately DH is not critical and understands why I might not want to don a body con number even though he thinks I would still look good . Ain't enough Spanks in the world! .Edinburgh felt amazing last week and I hope you have a decadent, hedonistic roaring 20s time.

Excellent plan, I'd need some mechanical engineering to get mine to do their duty in that regard. Not having to tuck them in the wasteband of my knickers yet so I'm taking that as a positive!

I've also just shoved half a family sized rhubarb and custard trifle down my throat as it was going out of date and it can't be wasted - obviously
