This is positive. www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2021/may/31/rich-countries-vaccines-covid-19-manageable-health-issue-pandemic

Devi is not allowed to say anything not pre-approved by Nicola.

I've just read on another thread a parent saying they sanitised their child's hand because a bubble that someone blew burst on it.
Wtf is wrong with people? Is no one able to assess risk anymore? I despair for these children who are going to grow up with health anxiety due to all of this.

@shouldistop dear God!
Yes your right and its already very real!

We are now sorting out a mud kitchen to try and encourage DS to get mucky

riverrunning · 31/05/2021 17:27

The sun shone, at 2pm! How lovely that was. Dare I hope for more of the same this week?

Although I could've done without the self important person on their laptop in the park giving us evils when my dd kicked the ball near!

shouldistop · 31/05/2021 17:52

@riverrunning that's ridiculous. You're in a park, the right place for kicking a ball!

riverrunning · 31/05/2021 17:55

I did wonder why they'd plonked their laptop down in a busier bit of lawn used for dogs running and chasing balls and football - some people are a bit strange.

Cismyfatarse · 31/05/2021 20:21

Can I join?

I am not sure I am welcome on the Tiers thread as I am too grumpy. (Or mardy as my relatives say).

titsintiers · 31/05/2021 20:22

Pull up a pew @Cismyfatarse

WouldBeGood · 31/05/2021 20:22

Hello, @Cismyfatarse.

You have plenty to rail about today.

All grumpiness/railing/happiness/ whatever welcome here, unjudged

SoMuchForSummerLove · 31/05/2021 20:24

@Cismyfatarse of course you are welcome on any thread!

WouldBeGood · 31/05/2021 20:31

Also railing about my neighbours’ children. Why can’t they fuck off to the park to ride their bikes like normal children, instead of riding up and down right in front of my window and setting my dog off?

OP posts:
SoMuchForSummerLove · 31/05/2021 20:34

I'm railing about fucking periods getting more painful after they're performing any useful function Hmm

WouldBeGood · 31/05/2021 20:35

@SoMuchForSummerLove I don’t want to tempt fate but I got my womb fried at the start of February and no horrific periods since. Seek help, is my advice.

OP posts:
SoMuchForSummerLove · 31/05/2021 20:41

I don't think there's any problem though, it's really just that I didn't have periods for years when I had my implant in, and now that it's removed they're more heavy than before, and I'm not as used to dealing with them I guess. And they're useless! There should be a switch behind your ear that you press when periods aren't required.

WouldBeGood · 31/05/2021 20:45

That would be great @SoMuchForSummerLove.

Scientists!! Take note!

titsintiers · 31/05/2021 21:07

Have you considered a mirena @SoMuchForSummerLove? I'd recommend it.

I agree. Had an ablation 4 years ago. Wish I had had it done sooner.

Groovee · 31/05/2021 21:31

Raging. Wore factor 50 suncream. Topped it up and am now burnt. Colleague is burnt too. Fml. My car clunked this morning and is undrivable and bank holiday means places are closed. 😭😭 and Mr G is driving me up the wall cos he's had so much morphine he's bunged up.

Here's hoping June is a more pleasant month.

WouldBeGood · 31/05/2021 21:38

Oh, god, @Groovee I don’t even know what to say. Have you got strong drink?

OP posts:
titsintiers · 31/05/2021 21:48

Ffs @Groovee as if you haven't had enough shit to deal with.

Are you checking your blind spot for Jeremy Beadle?

Groovee · 31/05/2021 21:50

I do wonder if someone is going to jump out on me go whoooo hooo whooo hooo we pranked you 😭😭😭

Work asked if I should be in today. But the children keep me going. It was a fab day.

WouldBeGood · 31/05/2021 22:15

@Groovee I’m glad at least your work is good 😊

Icannever · 31/05/2021 23:32

We all ended up burnt this weekend as well. It’s been too long without sun, no building up gently just straight from winter to summer.
