I took my tiny dog for a big walk and now debating whether to go up to Braehead to collect my new tent, or if it will be too busy!

I’m trying to be wholesome, in the face of adversity

If you are just getting it from Decathlon it shouldn't be too busy

We're short staffed again and I stupidly agreed to work Thursday. 😭😭

It was more the fact the dad made a big thing of the child facing the opposite way than him actually doing it. Was bit strange!

First day back at work and I’m shattered, we didn’t even do that much but guess just being out the house for a full day!

The last time I camped It was so cold I had to go and buy more jumpers to sleep in. This was in another country where it shouldn’t have been that cold. It got hot again in the last day!

This is only a partial rail, but it's self-centred . The Scottish case numbers today are the best they've been by a country mile but numbers in East Dunbartonshire, where I live are going up. I know they're still tiny numbers but I'm ashamed to admit it unsettles me, especially as I'm back face to face with school age children. One at a time , socially distanced blah blah but my intentions to make the most of the easing of restrictions is clouded by this.

One of my pupils was sent home as a close contact of a classmate. Ugh. Seems never endi.

@mibbelucieachwell oh no..try not to worry. Even in your circumstances you’re really unlikely to be infected, even if the pupil tests positive. But sometimes it’s just stressful, even if you know that logically.

I know. Thank you. I really feel for anxious people who have to work in close proximity to lots of people. I'm lucky to have a good sized room that opens almost off the front door of the house and I leave a gap between pupils. And I've had a vaccine. When I go to their homes I'm only in for 30 minutes (usually getting chilly beside a window and blaming any wrong notes I play on cold hands )

Mr G saw the consultant today. Provisional date for gall bladder to leave is a month away.
