@WouldBeGood that's nice.

snowcoveredcampsies · 22/03/2021 19:05

@Bytheloch sure they are. If you break the rules then you're more likely to catch it and spread it. That could harm some vulnerable people.

You don't need to feel guilty about that if you don't care. Each to their own!

If you’re a vegan, probably best not to hang around on a BBQ recipe ideas thread.
Perhaps you should go find your people elsewhere?

or you could always name change again?

shouldistop · 22/03/2021 19:16

@fandabbydoozy who have you reported and why?

I hope it wasn't my post? I use this link for figures, I just assume it's correct.

What is the obsession with name changing on Scotsnet?

People are allowed to name change. I think I've changed my name maybe four times in the last year, for a number of reasons.

Doesn't make me suspicious or anything. I just get bored with names easily!

WouldBeGood · 22/03/2021 19:21

Back to railing. I’m really bored of the continual wittering on the tannoy at the supermarket about staying safe etc. So looking forward to that stopping. And being able to listen to the radio and watch tv again.

I think Scotnset is filled with frustrated Nancy Drew types. They just love the drama and the thrill of the investigation.

UnderHisAye · 22/03/2021 19:23

Oh I bought DD Nancy Drew books for Christmas, all of her friends have borrowed them now!

Me too.

A latte and a cheese scone would be tip bloody top.

And Nancy Drew my arse.

Even sodding YouTube. Trying to watch something nice and cheery and some ScotGov advert interjects to ruin my mood and I have to wait five seconds before I can skip. And what's worse is I've helped pay for it.

snowcoveredcampsies · 22/03/2021 19:26

Haha they are brilliant. A total rite of passage. And The Babysitters Club. 😍

I had the nicest cheese scone of my life in a little arcade in Bath in summer 2019. My mental map of time and space is made up of things I've eaten.

titsintiers · 22/03/2021 19:27

I miss 2019.

WouldBeGood · 22/03/2021 19:27

I’m watching Call My Agent and dreaming of Paris.

We enjoyed the series until there was a particularly sanctimonious episode about a trans 5 year old who a doctor inadvertently dead named Hmm
WouldBeGood · 22/03/2021 19:28

So glad I went to France last summer when it was allowed. Keeping the GB sticker on my car as a talisman.

Me too, so much. Went campervanning all over Europe, my summer lasted till November. Then we came home all ready to get our home on the market and move to sunnier climes before the Brexit deadline and then... boom. No money, no move, no EU residency.
But not dead, I suppose. So there's that.

WouldBeGood · 22/03/2021 19:30

A trans 5 year old, @UnderHisAye? 😱

OP posts:
snowcoveredcampsies · 22/03/2021 19:30

@UnderHisAye no way! Is that an updated version? The ones I had were from the 80s early 90s! Don't even think there was a gay character never mind trans!

MaxNormal · 22/03/2021 19:30

I had to stop watching the new Star Trek part way through the most recent series because of similar. Horribly clunky and shoe-horned, too.

snowcoveredcampsies · 22/03/2021 19:31

Oh sorry I see you've said the series!

‘We can help you stay safe’🧐 My friend is working in Glasgow this week, she’s travelled up from Leeds, staying in a city centre hotel and already had enough of the constant ‘we’re keeping you safe during your stay’ across all the signs. Apparently her journey up was not as safe, as the motorway was very busy, which is most puzzling if we’re all staying at homeWink
WouldBeGood · 22/03/2021 19:37

I had to travel (to do with care for my bereaved aunt) the other day, and the motorway home was very busy indeed.
