The tone stays low and the railing goes on

Me too

PoloMintPatty · 08/03/2021 23:10

That's beyond rubbish about your Mr G @Groovee

Hope you are all coping ok.

DeepfriedPizza · 09/03/2021 08:11

Rubbish to hear about Mr Groove

My Dad is 63 and is getting his vaccine at the end of the month so that's positive news.

DD's Birthday is also at the end of the month and we might get to go to Mother in law's for an outside meal under the gazebo fun! ( sarcasm)

rookiemere · 09/03/2021 08:15

@DeepfriedPizza glad your DF is getting his vaccine but end of March seems quite slow for 63. BIL and SIL both early sixties got theirs at the weekend in England.

rookiemere · 09/03/2021 08:16

I am excited to hear what outdoor relaxations are being proposed today.
Anyone want to take a wager. I'm thinking 4 people from 2 households- big wowzer, but at least can have couple friends round again.

GirlLovesWorld · 09/03/2021 08:22

Very strangely this thread has appeared on my 'Threads I'm On' even though I've never posted on it...

Ah well here I am. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think you're right. Finally we can share the six by Nico!
rookiemere · 09/03/2021 08:32

Mind you until I get the results of yesterday's covid test I'll be sharing nothing with nobody. Assumed it would be negative, but who knows as still have scratchy throat and headache.
Annoying as have next week off and a few things planned.

shouldistop · 09/03/2021 08:41

@GirlLovesWorld clearly it was a sign Grin

Nipoleonthenoncommital · 09/03/2021 08:49

Hope it's negative @rookiemere and you're feeling better soon.

WouldBeGood · 09/03/2021 08:53

That is weird @GirlLovesWorld!

@rookiemere really hope you feel better.

I’m thinking you might be allowed to meet two people outside but not at home

OP posts:
GirlLovesWorld · 09/03/2021 08:54

Really weird! But I'll maybe want a moan later on, say around 2.20pm, so maybe some sort of divine intervention at work Grin

WouldBeGood · 09/03/2021 08:56

😂 pre-ordained railing

OP posts:
GirlLovesWorld · 09/03/2021 08:58

I've been very studious about not railing because it makes me feel worse, but we'll see...

WouldBeGood · 09/03/2021 09:00

Positive vibes welcome too 😃

rookiemere · 09/03/2021 09:11

Hurrah! Negative test. Still feel rubbish, but hey it's not Covid so at least I'm not housebound for 10 days.
I have to say that we've each had a test once - DS in Sep , DH Jan and me just now and each time results have been back within 24 hrs.

shouldistop · 09/03/2021 09:13

@rookiemere hope you feel better soon. Glad it's not Covid at least.

WouldBeGood · 09/03/2021 09:14

That’s good news @rookiemere! Hopefully it goes away soon

anon444877 · 09/03/2021 09:34

I'll be studiously ignoring the briefing - being able to meet a couple more adults from the same household outside will make no difference as no family here and how many times when you are having yet another playdate in the park do both parents decide to tag along? Never, I've yet to see that happen!

Glad it's not covid rookie.

IsurviveonCoffeeandWinein2021 · 09/03/2021 09:36

I will watch and rage at the TV no doubt. How can she stand up there after the weekend and expect anyone to take it seriously

WouldBeGood · 09/03/2021 09:38

Maybe she’ll just say it’s clearly done now, and lift lockdown?

OP posts:
IsurviveonCoffeeandWinein2021 · 09/03/2021 09:42

@WouldBeGood that would be the ideal but I imagine we will get more stick with it crap 😂

rookiemere · 09/03/2021 09:54

Perhaps she might apologise for schools for giving them no notice of an impossible to reconcile maths question : (Prioritisation of exam years + All S1-S3s to be in once a week) / (Fixed space x2m2 distance ) x Teachers unable to work 24 hrs per day = Computer says No.

WouldBeGood · 09/03/2021 09:55

I think her apologising is as likely as my suggestion 😂
